Re: Zero out with DBS on consolidated element
Definitely, ViewZeroOut is by far the better option. It's just something that I used 20 years ago before I knew better

Re: Zero out with DBS on consolidated element
You could also use CellPutProportionalSpread but you'll have to encapsulate within CellGetN <> 0. Not best practice by far, but it'll work

PA 2.0.9.20 and Nutanix
Hi all,
Has anybody dealt with Nutanix before. I'm looking at a clip on netanix, and it seems that it is basically a VM managing software. Am I correct or am I completely barking up the wrong tree?
TIA

9.4 introduced Unicode. You really can't compare the two

Re: TI Variables wrongly assigned in PAW
Hi,
I think the easiest way to do this is to firstly not create the view as temporary. Then use that as reference for your process, setup the variables and then delete the non-temporary view afterwards.
Obviously, then set the view back to Temporary.

PAW Local cores
Hi,
I have to provide a client with IBM recommendations i.t.o. number of cores for the installation of PAW on Windows Server 2016 for use with their Controller FAP server. Does anybody know if such a recommendation exist or is it perhaps limited by any other factors?
Thanks
George

Re: TM1 10.2.2 FP6 IF1 crashing without log entries
Thanks for all the suggestions, but in the end it was a circular reference because of an attribute. I worked with IBM and he couldn't get the server to fall over on FP7 or after downgrading back to FP6 IF1. In the end it was just a case of removing cubes and eventually removing and adding the rules ...

Re: TM1 10.2.2 FP6 IF1 crashing without log entries
I don't believe this has anything to do with SaveDataAll, since it even crashed 5 minutes after starting without any chore or process running. I merely mentioned that since it enabled me to determine when the crash happened (and no recorded event in the Event Log).

TM1 10.2.2 FP6 IF1 crashing without log entries
Hi, I have a client running 10.2.2 FP6 IF1, which was installed almost 2 weeks weeks ago and it's been running without incident. They have a chore running 'n Savedataall every 15 minutes past the hour and I can see that the last time it ran was at 1:15 AM morning. According to the tm1server.log the ...

Integrated login - 2008 R2 to 2016
Hi,
I have a client that uses integrated login through Citrix to connect to TM1. They want to upgrade the domain controller from Server 2008 R2 to Server 2016 and they're concerned that they might have to create new SSO tokens.
Anybody have any idea?
Thanks

Re: OutOfMemory exception - TM1 10.1.1
You seem to be missing the fact that when I restarted the server it only ran at 300 MB. This server is currently running at about 350MB.
There wasn't/isn't a rule file for the Assumptions cube.
I didn't really expect any valid responses to this freak scenario but thank you for trying.

OutOfMemory exception - TM1 10.1.1
I'm wondering if anybody has seen or experienced anything similar to this: We've just started with a new implementation and our development server is set to restart every night. After it restarted last night (5 seconds) nobody logged in before I tried to connect this morning. From my laptop, I was u...

Re: Unable to login from client PC
I meant to post a last reply:
This issue sorted itself out.
I'm thinking it was a network problem, because while I sat with IT to try and sort it out, they put IP address in admin host and it worked. I left my admin host as the servername, refreshed and suddenly I was able to get in.
Very weird

Re: Unable to login from client PC
There is nothing complicated like custom log files, etc.
While trying to sort this out, I also created new services using the IBM cognos configuration as well as adding the service manually using tm1sd -install. That also didn't work.

Re: Unable to login from client PC
Thanks for the replies, but unfortunately neither is the cause for my problem since I started having this problem after purely replacing a whole server excl. the tm1s.cfg. I tested with server and client firewalls off and even managed to telent to all necessary ports with the firewalls one. I also t...

Unable to login from client PC
Hi all, I hope somebody can help me with this issue: This morning I was able to login from my laptop to 3 instances on the server. I stopped the dev server, copied all files (excl tm1s.cfg) from production to dev and started the service. I could see the server in Architect/Perspectives from my lapto...
