Re: Question about picklists

Hi, after installation of HF13 on TM1 9.5.1 i have a problem, that the null value, that automatically was there in TM1 Web is gone now. Now null value have to be in picklist itself, otherwise i get "Value not in Picklist", which is quit a problem, as we have many picklists going on dimensi...

Re: TM1 Web - Prevent entering values on C-Elements

Hi guys,

thanks a lot!

It is unfortunately a view - so the only way would be to set Element Security. But i think the users will have to live with undo button.

TM1 Web - Prevent entering values on C-Elements

Hi guys, it there any possibility to prevent users to enter values on C-Elements in TM1 Web? Is there any parameter that can be set in webconfig? What happens now is, that when user enters values (directly, without using right mouse click -> data spreading) on c-elements new value is just spread pro...

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

Hi Paul, i guess i know, how to cascade - that was the original plan => to assign Application's access on the top level and cascade it to the subfolders. But as this one wouldn't work, i tried just with simple rules to understand, how the thing works. Which suprises me a lot is, that Rule-based Secu...

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

Then this is exactly what i do! I have to set all Applications to none, because the requirement is, that the users see only applications relevant to them. So i have 4 groups, which are supposed to set visibility of applications, all other groups (especially new ones) have rights set to 'none'. When ...

Re: Cell Security Cube

Hi, maybe this one can help. What we did in similar situation was following: - create lookup cube with dimensions Buyers, Products, Assignment. Assignment is the dimension where you basically calculated you access rights. - In this cube apply your rules, to calculate access as read/write/none based ...

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

Thanks for your replay. Do I put []=s: 'none'; in the very beginning of the rule???? And then set the rights? And once again - i realize that i have to assign rights to each level. I also know, that user can't see views, if user don't have at least read rights to the corresponding cubes and to open ...

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

Thanks for the remark, but this all has already been arranged - cubes/dimension security rules work fine. When user see the applications, they can also open all views and excels. It is also clear to me, that i have to set rights for ALL application objects. I just started from the very beginning - i...

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

Yes, i typed it;) I already noticed the fact, that new groups automaticaly see all applications, that's why the idea was to use rules to avoid this. Original rules were more complicated, but now i have this ones: ['Group1', 'Central Cost Planning'] = S: 'read'; ['Group2', 'Market Cost Planning'] =s:...

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

I would also not really know what to feed, because rules are like:
[Group1, Application1] = s: read;
[Group2, Application2] = s: read;

Re: Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

There are no feeders at all (as well es no skipcheck) -> this works fine for Cubes and Dimensions, but not for Applications.

Application Security with rules TM1 9.5.1

Hi guys, the idea was to use Rules in }ApplicationSecurity-Cube to control visibility of Applications for users. The rules seem to work - the cube is filled with correct access priviliges for groups. But after "Security Refresh" users still can't see their applications (in any Clients - Pe...
