Re: Question about formatting rule calculated cells in TM1

They should still be formatted as currency.
Did you apply formatting to elements of other dimensions in that cube ?

Re: Rules replicating itself

So, what is the structure you normally have, which leads to the structure that we see in your post ?
I would add notes after the initial statements of feedstrings, skipcheck, ... Nothing on top of these initial statements.

Re: Displaying data tables according to dimension elements

So you have a 2D table and another dimension. If my maths is still correct, 2 and 1 makes 3.
So how about creating a 3D cube... and a report on the cube with 2 stacked row dimensions ?

Re: Active Forms with Filters

As there is TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER, DRILLDOWNLEVEL, ... and also to for the arguments ALL and RECURSIVE,
I tend to use Descendants:

Code: Select all

="TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( DESCENDANTS( {[YourDimension].[" & A1 & "]}), 0)"

Re: DB function is not pulling data from the source cube

No, you have to be rather explicit there, and reference 1 element in (1 hierarchy of) the target dimensions. It could be level 0 or consolidated, it could be retrieved with whatever logic you deem necessary (like an attribute or string concatenation or other) but eventually what you mention as argum...

Re: Active Forms with Filters

Use an MDX statement to return these children, based on the value of a cell (like a SUBNM). You can fully customize this. In the MDX argument of the TM1RPTROW function, refer to the (hidden) cell that contains the MDX expression. That MDX would be a string where a cell reference to the project choic...

Re: PickList is not visible with IFERROR formula

You should not wrap the DBRW formula for the picklist in another function. Even more, you should NEVER wrap ANY DBRW formula in any other function. I would use some clever conditional formatting to hide or show the picklist / DBRW. For example, use DIMIX on the elements such that only if all DIMIX'e...

Re: Load particular records in a cube using TI

Either you change the query for the datasource to include only the records needed, either you have logic in the TI process to count the number of records that have been treated. If this means excluding the last 5, for example, it can mean that you need to use a helper process to know how many record...

Hi Paul,

If you could provide a PRO file and some dummy data / dimensions / attribute values ?
I can run some tests with the code on a 2.0.8 installation.

Re: adding button to pax sheet and publish in paw

The messages can be customized by using for example: =M1
whereby cell M1 contains the error message. That could come from a DBR formula or similar solution.

Re: TI Process Not Loading All Values

Limit the ODBC query to 1 record (that does not work).
Navigate to the exact cell. If it works, there will be something else that puts the cell again to 0. Like another record to the same cell.
If it does not work, you can investigate further.

Re: TI Process Not Loading All Values

What is the data source ?
Is it possible that 1 specific cell is being written to from multiple 'records' in the data source ?
About the decimal separator: you are sure that values are 0 instead of 0.00001 for example - due to formatting that hides the small values ?

Re: TI Process Not Loading All Values

Did you navigate to the exact cells that should have received the values ?
Do you check a consolidated value whether children have a weight of 0 ?
What about the settings for the decimal separator and similar ?

The alias uniqueness is enforced of course for different processes.
For 1 and the same process, several locales can use the same alias value. My bad.

Localized alias as attribute - enforce unique values

Hello, Am I correct in assuming that localized attributes, in case of aliases, should enforce unique values ? I guess it's not the case. For example create a TI process called 'test'. Then in either that TI process or in another one, you can write and execute: ProcessAttrDelete( 'Description' ); Pro...
