SSL V2 Expiry 25 August 2022
Hi We are still running on 10.2.2 (don't ask...) and we are running with v2 ssl certificates. Can anyone please tell me whether the SSL expiration mentioned in this article also impacts 10.2.2? The article refers to PA but obviously 10.2 was pre PA however if we view our certificate it does have an ...

Re: Data Saves not completing and retriggering 10.2.2 FP4
Sorry posted that last reply too early!
Thanks for the suggestions, I'm not sure we can stop users submitting data in certain windows but are looking at how we might better manage it.
I will post back if we find any of the suggestions work better than others!
Regards
Sarah

Re: Data Saves not completing and retriggering 10.2.2 FP4
Hi No worries about hijacking the thread as your experience seems very similar to our own! We are also going to turn off our midday save and instead run later in the evening when there is less user traffic. Unfortunately our users use the system from 6am until midnight and we have files being submit...

Data Saves not completing and retriggering 10.2.2 FP4
Hi We are running into an occasional issue where our data save (running on a chore) is not completing. It starts, we can see it running in Tm1Top, many other chores, processes and data loads are then happening alongside this. The save process does not complete, so it then reruns, and again doesn't c...

Re: Edit Element Weighting in 9.5.2
Hi Yes, that works!! It's alittle confusing as when the element properties screen opens it already looks like the element is selected and the weighting is greyed out, however, if I click on the element in the top left of the element properties screen the weighting then turns white. Genius!! Thanks f...

Edit Element Weighting in 9.5.2
Hi I can't believe I'm asking such a rookie type question but it has me really perplexed! I am trying to create a period movement consolidation in a dimension, which will be the sum of one period less another. eg 201502 MVMT = 201502 less 201501. The children already exist, so I am simply edi...

Re: Renaming a TM1 Service
Yes fair point! I just wondered why it wasn't as simple as renaming it in the service list.
Will stop wasting time contemplating and just get on with it!

Renaming a TM1 Service
Hi I'm trying to find out if there is a way to rename a TM1 service in the registry. I don't mean the displayed name in the services list, I've changed that already. I mean the actual service name which is displayed down the left hand pane in the registry editor. I tried just editing the name in the...

Re: Server Upgrade Performance Degradation
Hi Thanks for the help, unfortunately that anti virus exceptions have not resolved the issue. I've asked IT to produce some logs of the activity during startup times now so that we can analyse it. We are wondering whether we need to reinstall TM1 as the OS was upgraded without a complete rebuild. I'...

Re: Error : Operations Console
Hi
I experienced recurring issues with Ops Consol (I can't recall the exact detail as I don't use it in my current company), however the issue resolved if you deleted the server from Ops Console and then added it back again. Might be worth a try?

Re: Server Upgrade Performance Degradation
Yes the dev and test servers are like for like on processors. We've disabled the windows update service but are still getting really extreme start up times on the dev server. I'm investigating further but it looks like an automatic startup with a server restart is fairly quick (440 seconds) but if I...

Re: Server Upgrade Performance Degradation
It looks like there is a windows updates service running which is utilising most of the CPU and slowing things down. Hopefully this will eventually complete and we will then be running ok!

Server Upgrade Performance Degradation
Hi We are in the process of upgrading our Dev and Test servers from Server 2008 R2 Standard to the Enterprise edition, plus allocating more RAM (from 32gb to 128gb) Both are virtual servers. We are running on Tm1 9.5.2 (upgrading next year finally!) The upgrade on dev has been completed, however the...

10.2 Architect Training
Hi Can anyone point me in the direction of some classroom based developer training for 10.2 Architect/Perspectives in London please? Thanks I'll look forward to that, in the meantime I'll continue with my long winded approach rationalising where possible. I will have to do this all again at the end of Dec so if you manage to post the details by then that would be great!

Re: }hold cubes and issues with savedata (9.1.4)
Robert Sorry, I may have phrased that wrongly. Instead of having one chore that calls say 5 processes, we have one process that uses ExecuteProcess within it to call the other processes, this one process is then added into a chore and scheduled. As alot of our chores only run one process anyw...

Re: }hold cubes and issues with savedata (9.1.4)
Hi I've just also replied to the thread about 9.1.4 FP1 (we are 64 bit) but thought I would mention here (as I did not there) that we did also experience the Save Data problems, and also ended up removing all SaveDatas from our processes except our one SaveDataAll process which runs every hour Since...
