Mike -
Exactly what I was looking for! I looked at the index for security settings in the pdf manuals, but wasn't having very much luck. Looks like that's two lunches I owe you (either that or a very nice dinner!)

Re: Security for new data cube
Thanks for the reply. My co-worker isn't viewing from a cube viewer. She's viewing a published web report. I did check the order of the elements in the DBRW formula in the published worksheet. They are in the correct order. I did view the report using my credentials, and the data appeared correctly,...

Re: Security for new data cube
I forgot to mention that when I went to demonstrate the report to my co-worker, she logged in with her credentials (which is not an administrator account).

Security for new data cube
Fellow forum members - I created a new data cube last week. I did not set up any security to the data elements. I published a report from a cube slice (OLAPObjects) and it worked as expected. When I went to demonstrate the report to a co-worker, there were *KEY_ERR in place of the data elements. I c...

Re: }ElementAttributes_Time rules
Mr. Cowie - Once again, you provide a great answer. I could have sworn I looked at all of the .rux files in the data directory. Oh well. I found the syntax from the backup copy of the rule, and you are absolutely right about the syntax. the 'TRUE' section of the IF statement should have been 'Y"...

}ElementAttributes_Time rules
Fellow forum members - I my efforts to edit a rule (written by our VAR), which I am now kicking myself for not copying the original to a text editor before modifying, I seem to have rendered its syntax to be incorrect. I'd like to find which directory the rule for this Element attribute is stored so...

OLAPObjects copy input from n level
I'm trying to publish a web input page via OLAPObjects Publisher 5.0. I've got two view expansions - a row and a column. There is a cube that is set up to allow for percentage or flat amount modifications (to n-level employee compensation elements). I've got the DBRW input formula within the row tha...

Not a legal OleAut date
Fellow Forum Members: We recently upgraded from TM1 9.0 SP3 to TM1 9.5.1. After a fair amount of troubleshooting, we were able to get the system up and running. As of this morning, OLAPObjects 5.0 is throwing an error that I have not seen before. We are allowed to log in, but the error message is di...

TM1Web & OLAPObjects 5.0
Fellow forum members: I'm preparing to upgrade TM1 from 9.0 SP3 to 9.5.1. We have backed up the TM1 directory. I am reading the installation documentation (specifically page 24). In our current environment, we use OLAPObject Publisher 5.0, not TM1 Web. I want to double check if the TM1 Web component...

Re: Downloaded 9.5.0 - Where is the .exe file?
Thanks for the tip. Our VAR agrees. IT tried to download 9.5.1 three times last night, but it stalled every time. He checked his connection, and it was working fine. Has any one else had issues with downloading? Thanks again for your feedback.

I don't think he downloaded just the Download Manager - the directory where all of the zip and tar.gz files are stored is 2.37 GB. Thanks for your input though!

Re: Downloaded 9.5.0 - Where is the .exe file?
I'm reading the Installation Guide for 9.5, and on page 16, it states "Locate and run the setup.exe file". There is a setup.exe in each of the following zip files: CZD7FML.zip - I think this is the 64-bit version, so I'm inclined to say this is not the one. CZA2RML.zip CZA2SML.zip CZD7EML....

Downloaded 9.5.0 - Where is the .exe file?
We currently have TM1 version 9.0 SP3. This is our first update of Cognos/TM1. After discussing with IT, he decided it would be faster if he downloaded from his home machine, and copy to the TM1 server. When the download finished, there were two options with the Download Manager - Setup or Help. He ...

Fellow Forum Members- After Reading Alan's post on Long Strings in 9.0, and a few others that mentioned this error message in TI, I'm trying to figure out what I need to do in order to address the issue.
