Re: SaveDataAll with Bulk mode invalidates other chores
Hi Thanks for the reply. As I wrote the server does not seem to be stuck in bulk mode. And interesting is that it is working fine for a while, then just stops working without any user activity or other concurrent chores. "Just schedule this saving chore at a proper timing." And this is the...

SaveDataAll with Bulk mode invalidates other chores
Hi, I am facing a weird issue, hope someone can help. I saw it in CX 10.1 and TM1 10.1.1 FP1. We have a SaveDataAll chore, including Enable- and DisableBulkLoadMode. We tried it with 2 scenarios, same result: one TI, EnableBulkLoadMode on Prolog, then Disable on Epilog and SaveDataAll on Prolog (or ...

Re: Active Form goes blank after running a TI Process
Hi
Without knowing anything about the data content of your active form:
Have you tried to select 'Rebuild Sheet' when you click on 'Options...' in the Action Button Properties window? That should automatic rebuild your sheet when the TI finished running.

Hi As Michel wrote: "if you have an element SCIB that is part of two roll-ups than the SCIB element under the first parent is the same SCIB element as under the second parent" So if you want to display two different % values for the same element, I would recommend creating two measures for...

Re: Locking down cube area from change incl TI procs/admins
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27024861 As of 10.1 FP1, data reservation will not prevent admins from data input. Which on one hand is fine because it was really complicated to write to Contributor cubes reserved by users (for example overnight TIs, chores); on the other hand it us...

Re: Question about picklists
I don't know when this was fixed but in 10.1.1. FP1, you can delete picklist-based string data in Cube Viewer, even if there is a subset behind the picklist.

Re: Setting cube properties
Hi Measure and Time properties in core TM1 do not have any meanings. They are built in because of external reporting applications, like Cognos BI. However, I'm not sure about this but I remember I have read somewhere here and we have also experienced that you cannot create a RS report from two diffe...

Re: Feeder calculation for unmatched dimension between cube
I agree with tomok: even if you really want to pull rates to your target cube, you do not really need to feed them. Rates should not be aggregated at all and it is very unlikely to use zero suppression in a view where there are only the rates displayed. So just simply write the rule if you really ne...

Re: 10.1.1 Fixpack (FP1) Release
Hi, My experience is that it depends on how you installed the server components. I have gone through this recently: Option1: clients were selected during 64bit server install - clients are installed under C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64, of course they are still 32bit - I think it is enough to ru...

Hi,
Based on this:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... 8#portlets
and this:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... 36005#apps
I would say widgets will not work with base 9.5.2 ( I do not know about FP2 or FP3).

Re: Excel ODBC drivers in 64 bit Tm1 9.5.2 Server
Hi, Our environment: Win Server 2008 64bit, TM1 10.1.1 FP1 64bit, all TM1 components on one box including TM1Web. After the OS install, I installed first 'AccessDatabaseEngine_x64'. Then the 32bit Microsoft Excel 2007. I was able to import a dimension from an excel file on the server through ODBC wi...

Re: TI process locking cube from reading
Hi Creating views, no. Creating subsets will cause locks. I tried it now with ViewDestroy - ViewCreate - ViewSubsetAssign lines in the Prolog, then the long WHILE in the first TI. Then in the Prolog of another TI, ViewDestroy and ViewCreate on the same cube but different view name. The lock is there...

Re: TI process locking cube from reading
Hi Joe, SubsetDeleteAllElements, SubsetElementInsert will lock only dependent objects - ie cubes (and dependent cubes) which use the dimensions they are associated with. I was just testing this with 10.1.1 FP1 and it was better than I expected: I put SubsetDeletAllElements and SubsetElementInsert in...

Re: Dynamics Subsets in multi Hierarchy Dimension
it seems that it first creates the hierarchy order (in which elem2 and elem3 is before Group2) and then filters the elements, even if the filter expression is within the Hierarchize expression

Re: Dynamics Subsets in multi Hierarchy Dimension
The really interesting is that when you choose record expression, then do the filtering manually and then save the expression, it looks good. And then when you reopen it, the hierarchical structure gets lost

Re: Dynamics Subsets in multi Hierarchy Dimension
Hi Are you sure the first screen is after 'All' ? If Elem2 is child of both Group1 and Group2, then 'All' usually does not show it under both; only if you collapse and re-expand the second parent. How is your dimension ordered? Manually? Can you also send a screen from your dimension editor directly...

Re: Dynamics Subsets in multi Hierarchy Dimension
Hi but after executing it the result is sorted by index nod by hierarchy Actually, at the same time this is also a hierarchical sort. I have just quickly created a dimension with the elements and order: Elem1 Elem2 Group2 Elem3 Elem4 If you sort this dimension hierarchically, you will still get the ...

Hi,
You don't get Perspectives with Planner. Other components are correct.
You can find out more here:
