Anyone out there know if there is a difference in how Architect/perspective and Contributor vary on their cell formatting priorities??
I have the exact same view in architect and contributor but they have different formatting. I am assuming the two look at formatting slightly differently

Re: Format in Contributor
Here is what IBM says: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ctm1/v9r5m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.swg.im.cognos.tm1_ug.9.5.2.doc/tm1_ug_id3564FormattingCells_N505B7.html I have experienced issues with having different formats in contributor and architect (in 9.5.1) for the exact same view. It is ...

Re: TM1 Contributor data commit and remains blue
Solution:
After installing Hotfix 17, we are no longer seeing this issue. Our original Tm1 version was 9.5.1.0000 (aka no Hot fixes)

Re: TM1 Contributor data commit and remains blue
Have they recommended any Hot fixes or an upgrade to 9.5.2 and did either of those things fix the issue? We've had a dialogue with IBM for 8 months now regarding this issue (we're on 9.5.1). Seems to happen at least if user opens the same node twice and/or in case of network problems.

Re: TM1 Contributor data commit and remains blue
bump. I am seeing this same issue on TM1 contributor 9.5.1, it appears to be only affecting certain nodes in my approval hierarchy, I have not yet found any thing different with the affected nodes that would lead me to the cause of the issue. Has anyone else out there seen this issue and have a sugg...

SOLUTION:
I ended up scrapping that method and creating a separate contributor app with only those 4 cubes in it.

Total Cube Access in TM1 contributor
Hi everyone, Here is the problem I am having some trouble getting around: TM1 version 9.5.1 I have a contributor app which includes views from 7 cubes. I want to have 3 of my users have normal access to their specific depts and complete access to 4 out of the 7 cubes in the appilcation. So these thr...

Re: Feeders Between Two Cubes with Different Dimensions
Hi Alex, As someone who is quite familiar with your model ;) the likely cause is what the others have been posting about: The "3" in the ELPAR function for the customer means there are at least three hierachies and hierarchy number three is the one that contains the tree of how the custome...

Re: Problem to Excel dropdown box validation
Users copy/paste multiple cells at a same time. After copy/paste, the value simply DDU, XYZ. the DBRW is no longer there. Would it be possible to have users just copy and past one cell at a time or not copy and paste at all? When you copy and paste multiple cells in an active form or slice, it will...

Re: Problem to Excel dropdown box validation
So a few clarifications. When you copy and paste the other currency in, are you copying and pasting one cell at a time or multiple cells at a time? Also, after copying and pasting the incorrect currency, when you click on that cell again does it have a DBRW function still in it or is it simply DDU, ...

...having a C: level rule for quantity, specifically for Level 2 parents in the defect dimension. I guess this would start with an IF. Do an if to establish if the element is a level 2 parent in defect if not then stet. From there you would need to establish the max... I would prefer to solve the p...

Re: Different sort order in one dimension?
Turbo Integrator will not allow you to have different sort orders in one dimension. If you attempt to do it, you will receive an error "%s: sorting information mismatch for this dimension". This is actually an issue I am currently trying to solve right now with my consolidated elements bei...

Re: TM1 Dimension Sort using MDX
Thanks for your help tomok, I will give them a try. The only thing is I never took Programming 101, so I am not sure what a bubble sort is. I will have to look that one up.
Thanks,
Thanks,

TM1 Dimension Sort using MDX
So what I am trying to accomplish is sort my dimension, which includes multiple uneven hierarchies, by both input and name at the same time. What I mean by that is I want all the consolidated elements to be in order of input (from how they were loaded in, same thing as I understand it as index numbe...

Cannot Get Process Handle

Re: Start and End Date
It seems to me that one possible solution may be to edit your time dimension structure so that you have an element that stretches more than one time period/year to sum up the values for you. You may also want to create a start and end date element in your measure dimensions that will read a "1&...

Re: Opening .cub files without tm1
Ok, Thanks. One of the reasons I ask was if there was a way to edit cube data without having architect. perspective, contributor, etc. So for some reason if you couldn't log into a tm1 model but had access to the cube files, you couldn't edit the }ClientProperties cube and find out what the login/pa...

Opening .cub files without tm1
Not vitally important but I was curious if anyone out there knew a way
Are there any ways to open a .cub file from a tm1 model without using tm1 (via architect, server explorer, contributor, etc.)?

Re: TI Process Restarts itself
it doesn't seem to depend on which cube I am loading it to. and what I mean by others users working in the model is they would be opening cube views, writing rules and feeders, just not running any other processes. No one is in contributor or web. Luckily enough it seems to effect nothing more than ...
