Re: TM1 Server termination due to Write error on Sandboxlog
Hi All,
The file path is e:\tm1_data\tm1_test\logs\sandboxlogs\ABC\User\c\tm1s.log.
Sorry for the confusion.
ABC is the namespace.
User is the username.
c is another folder where tm1s.log file is present
Hope this clears.
Thanks
Sophie

Re: Monitor the TM1 Services
From outside of TM1 - You could use Windows performance monitor to monitor the processes - tm1admsd, tm1sd and tm1excelservice every few seconds (minutes/hours) round the clock and log their Working sets value into a log file. When the services go down, the Windows perfmon will log "blank"...

Re: Simple question on tm1s.log
In my case, the tm1s.log had entries from before the crash and the subsequent transactions were appended to the same log after the server restarted. The file got saved with timestamp during the next "Save Data". Hence I think, the file is not corrupt. These transactions should be automatic...

Simple question on tm1s.log
Whenever our tm1 server crashes, I notice that the tm1s.log is sitting there in logging directory holding the transactions happened after the last "Save Data". My question is, once the server is restarted, will these transactions be loaded into the RAM and the future transactions be append...

I tried out PowerShell, it looks like it cannot understand the "Tail-File" function and get the below error. Get-content works. The term 'Tail-File' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was inclu...

Re: Error while starting the Servicies.
If this is not 9.5, you will have to make sure if you got "tm1s.lic" file in the data directory.
If it is not there, try copying it from your installation bin directory to the data directory.

Finding out if a server is loaded and ready
Hi, I am looking for some way to find if a TM1 server has finished loading after the recycle. Right now, I keep refreshing my client every few minutes to check if a server is available. I also periodically check the tm1server.log to verify "the server is ready" message. I tried to write a ...
