Transaction Log - No Records for One Cube
Hi Everyone, I cannot figure out how it is possible that in Transaction log I cannot see records for approx last 30 days for one specific cube while there are all the records for other cubes. To check this issue I entered data manually through excel template (DBRW) and also entered in Cube Viewer =>...

Re: Integrated Login: Domain Account Vs Local System
If you follow sivan's link that should give most of the points. 1. Server hosting TM1 has the same time as domain controller. 2. Password is not expired. 3. We have not installed 9.4.1 FP3 yet, thus ServerPrincipalName parameter is not applicable. I also understood this parameter is important for T...

Integrated Login: Domain Account Vs Local System
Hi Guys, We are going to implement integrated login (TM1 9.4.1 FP1). I have modified tm1s.cfg file (IntegratedSecurityMode=2), updated }ClientProperties cube (UniqueID = user@domain) and ticked Use Integrated Login parameter in TM1 Options. When service is running on the Domain Account which is loca...

Re: ODBC - Unable to Open Connection to Database
It works now.
Our server admin checked ODBC connections once again and found out that he had not set up connections correctly.
No problem in communication between Citrix and TM1 machines.

Re: ODBC - Unable to Open Connection to Database
What version of TM1? 32-bit or 64-bit? There are no 64-bit ODBC drivers for Excel so if it is 64-bt TM1 it's not going to work. Version 9.4.1, 32 bit. He can see the DSN in TI, so this isn't a 32- vs 64-bit issue. My guess is something around Windows permissions. Should be fine from the setup you d...

ODBC - Unable to Open Connection to Database
Hi everyone, I am trying to set up ODBC connection for *.xls file and I am not able to find any detailed help on this. We are using Citrix to access TM1 server, i.e.: 1. TM1 server is running on one machine. Service account belongs to local administrators group on this machine. 2. Clients are instal...

Re: SaveDataAll does not work???
It seems user permissions might be the case. I am going to investigate with our server administrator and come back as soon as resolved. Stanislav Service account belongs to local administrators group and the views files are not read-only - this looks OK. SaveDataAll in the epilog of the "subse...

Michel: Have you had a look at the server log to see whether there are error messages regarding SaveDataAll Hi Michel, I have checked the log - there are no messages related to SaveDataAll in this case. I have not seen any at all yet (for approx 1 year). Lotsaram: Possibly a workaround in this case...

Re: SaveDataAll does not work???
SaveDataAll is meant to save data (cell-value) changes. Metadata changes are saved instantaniously. Hi Michel, Thank you for your answer. I am just a bit confused now. Below is what you can see in TM1 help. Does it mean that when I assing subset manually it is saved immediately and if done through ...

SaveDataAll does not work???
Hello everyone, I am experiencing an "issue" with SaveDataAll and I was not able to find anything in both help and this forum. I have assigned subsets to views in our model and ran SaveDataAll process manually (it is also scheduled to run a few times a day) to make sure that metadata chang...

Incorrect Consolidation
Hello everyone, Do you have an idea what might cause the consolidation issue below? This is a snapshot of a cube view. MU Spain (MES) (elements: ..., 101724, ...) and Total Country (elements: ...,No Country,...) are consolidations. 1. You can see correct number in MU Spain, Total Country = 0,069. 2....

Re: Action Button - Rebuild Current Book
In the Action Button properties if you will use the option of Automatically Recalculate Sheet then you will be able to refresh all the Sheets in your workbook using a single Action Button. Let me know if that is not something which you want? Hi, Thanks for suggestion. The problem is that recalculat...

Action Button - Rebuild Current Book
Hi everyone, I have got a report with 4 sheets (active forms). We are using Excel 2007 and TM1 9.4 MR1. Is there a way how to rebuilt the whole book using one Action Button? Is there a way how to call an action button from another action button in the report? I would like to avoid using macro (due t...

Re: Intercube feeder
Hi Stanislav, since you are transfering Actuals, you could as well transfer the values with TI and store them physically in cube B. Assuming you have no end user interactivity for Actuals. Write a process that runs after you have loaded your Actuals in cube A. Another point is the summation SAP3000...

Re: Dynamic subset
Another way to do it with MDX: use the StrToMember function to directly pick an element from a cube string value. For a single element selection like in this case this would be more efficient than subset all followed by filter. Unless you have a requirement to dynamically change subsets on the fly ...

Re: Dynamic subset
Hi, Thanks a lot for your help. It is that easy if you know how to do things ;) I like the dynamic subset solution a bit more I think... I will change the subset and all the related views and processes are updated at once... Do you think there is any weakness in this approach? Can you see a signific...

Dynamic subset
Dear all, is it possible to create a dynamic subset based on value stored in a cube. There are CellGetN() and CellGetS() working in TI. Is there something similar that works in dynamic subsets? We use Parameters cube in which values defining actual year, month, etc are stored. In a reporting cube I ...

Intercube feeder
Hi everyone, is there a way how to workaround with intercube feeders in cubes which seems to be too large? I have got cube A (17 dims) and cube B (17 dims too). There is following rule in B loading data from A: ['Local currency','No Week','Actual','ActualSAPdata']=N: DB('SAP Actuals II','Total Sales...
