Creating Subset in TI and sorting via Attribute
I am creating an employee picklist for a cube that is department specific. To do this I create these picklist via a TI process whenever I receive a new employee file. This TI process references a attribute cube that contains the different department employee combinations. However the client would li...

Re: dynamic pick lists
I try to avoid MDX because I find there is a slowdown in contributor. So I manually edit the subsets when the dimensions are updated. I have been looking at MDX though, but I am not sure if there would be an easier way.

One of the measures in this cube is a measure that will have a pick list that will have a list of employees for them to choose from. Is there a dynamic way to have this ...

The client is requesting that in the current month they be able to see all the measures, but the in the proceeding month they only want to see one of the measure. ...

Uncommitted Data in Contributor
I have a user who has entered data but has not committed the changes. But this users superior has gone in and entered all of the needed changes and has submitted the node. Because of this the data that the original user is seeing is different from what the rest of the users are seeing, but because t...

Contributor Data Change Logs
Does any body know where data changes from TM1 Contributor are logged? I would say the tm1s.log file or the saved down files with the time stamp. However I looked at these files and they only contain changes from the cube viewer and any TP processes that were run, but no data changes. Anybody have a...

Re: User Performance issue
I wanted to add to this. 1. I have logged on as a user with the same security as the user in question, no issues, I hijacked the users credentials and log in as them and I get the issue. 2. People are logging in through TM1 Contributor into a cube view 3. We are using cell security, however I turned...

Re: User Performance issue
This is occurring in a cube view. I have monitored TM1top and task manager on both the web server and application server. When I open the tab with my test server I can see in tm1top that it calculates for a second, then renders for me. When this user logs on, I can see tm1top spin for 4 minutes and ...

Re: User Performance issue
OK, Let me be more specific. We are using TM1 contributor on 9.5.2. The client is having an issue where a tab is taking 4 + minutes to calculate and render. Then anytime they expand the hierarchy the tab takes 4 + minutes to recalculate. Now when I go in as my test user in the same environment I hav...

Re: Fixpack 2 install
Just an update to this post. FP1 is not a requirement (confirmed with IBM). We were able to get the fixpack installed by doing a quiet install that directly called the MSI install program. Apparently the issue was that our server would not allow the setup executable to initiate the MSI installation.
