We don't experience any issues with TM1Web, but we mainly use it for data input for Planning & Forecast applications. Maybe you can try the latest Fix Pack 2.

Cognos Express 10.2.1 Fix Pack 1 is now available on IBM Fix Central.

The methode described for Express 9.5 is almost the same for Express 10.2.1. If you are using isapi instead of cgi, you don't have to change the application pool to 32-bit anymore.

You have to use the gateway (see the installation document). After that you can configure the SSO option in IIS.

You can skip the Planning Analyst part with the .upl and menu.txt files and start with the Planning Contributor Admin part:

With Contributor you can only use 1 securitymode. So if you had choosen the BI Security, you can't see the TM1 Native Security servers or vica versa.

Do you have installed the correct TM1 Package Connector?

Same issue here, a non-admin user can't run a TI proces with a button in the Cognos Insight version that comes with Cognos Express 10.1.

Workaround is assign ADMIN rights or upgrade the Cognos Insight version (I tried it with Cognos Insight 10.2 FP1).

The Fix Central site is now working for me. This morning I received the same error message. Maybe you have to sign in with your IBM ID first.

The "simple" user has to have READ rights on the TI process.

You can preload (nightly) the selection on the prompt page with promt caching:

BI Runtime (Cognos Connection, without any BI studios) is enough for the configuration of Single Sign On and BI Runtime is included in the TM1 licence.

Install Fix Pack 1 or add the contributor url (fqdn mostly) to the intranet sites.

Alternative: create an extra column with a string element that is rule based.

Some tips:
- Do the install of TM1 with the option "Run as Administator" on a Windows 2008 machine
- Add the FQDN of the server in the planning.html if using BI security
- Check if the Cognos TM1 Application Server Windows Services is started
