Newbie TM1 question - why are all elements duplicated?
I have found that all my dimensions that are updated from an ODBC source are duplicated. For example I have a products dimension that is updated from an ODBC source. The ODBC source contains both elements and consolidations so when I have updated the products dimension I have for example: Σ ALL PRO...

Re: Zero-out data in TM1 cube
If you go with option three, is it so that you have to create a view that actually displays all the values on N level that you want to zero out? I have tried to do that but the view gets way to big when I nest several large dimensions so TM1 crashes. In that case is my only option to create several ...

Re: How to use dynamic portions of a dimension in forms?
Previously I had this large dimension as rows, but the users wanted it as columns instead so I can't use MDX active forms, I have to build it in a "normal" form. How does this concept with building a smaller dimension with the paramaterized Action button work?

Re: How to use dynamic portions of a dimension in forms?
Just to summarize, what I'm locking for is a function or combination of function that are similar to dnext but instead of just returning the next element I want it to return the next element that meets a condition for an attribute value.

How to use dynamic portions of a dimension in forms?
I am new to TM1 and have a general question regarding the possibility to use dynamic parts of a dimension in a form. For example we have a very large project dimension. In the projects dimension we have a consolidated level called Business Unit, so one Business Unit can have one or more projects as ...

Re: Active form not showing correct value until pressing ent
It seems like the column I have trouble with is using another title element for one of the dimensions, compared to the other columns. Is this a problem with active forms? If so is there any good work around to handle the issue?

Active form not showing correct value until pressing enter
I have an active form using the TM1TPTROW formula to drill down on the projects (rows). One of the columns is not showing the correct value until I put the cursor on the cell that has the wrong value (to check the references of the cell) and the pressing enter. Then the correct values hows up but wh...

Re: How to avoid that Excel turns into a bottleneck in TM1?
Hi, thanks for your answer and indeed the auto calc is enabled in Excel because that is how the users prefer to have it and since I'm new to TM1 I was not sure if they were supposed to be able to have autocalc on or if it is assumed that you should always use manual calc. Reading you answer I unders...

How to avoid that Excel turns into a bottleneck in TM1?
As we all know, TM1 has amazing performance thanks to the in memory technique. However in out first TM1 implementation we have used Excel and more specific active forms in Excel as the primary end user interface. We have significant performance issues and it seems like the bottleneck is not the serv...
