Re: n element KEY ERR

The user has tried to a full reboot and it didn't work. The only thing that seems to resolve the issue is restarting the server instance.

Re: n element KEY ERR

An update to this post. The user experiences this problem after a change to a dimension such as moving a cost center. The problem goes away after the service is restarted. No other users are having this trouble.

n element KEY ERR

We recently moved from 9.5.1 to 10.1 and one user is expereincing an error when he is using the ISB. He can see data at the consoldiated level but gets KEY ERRs at the n element level. He has admin rights so I don't believe it is a security issue. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Trouble with N: and C: rules

Paul/qml,

Thank you for your replies. I had considered Consolidatechildren but I have read that it should be avoided if possible. I will try the calculation at the N level first. I wanted to make sure there wasn't an alternative I didn't know about.

Thanks again.

Trouble with N: and C: rules

Hi All, I am using TM1 version 9.1.2 and have AllowNandCrules (don't remember the exact syntax) in the config file. My problem is I'm trying to write a C and a N rule and then consolidated the two together. ['US Unallocated','Toll']=C:DB('P&L','actual','Total',!Co&cost,'Tolls',!amonth)*(DB('...

Upgrade from 9.1.2 to 9.5.X

I want to upgrade from 9.1.2 to 9.5. Is there a 32 bit version of 9.5? Will it work in Windows 2003 and/or Windows 2007? Is it simple enough that a person with a financial background (not IT) can do it? Is there anything I need to know before I try it? I would like to try this on a laptop first to m...

Re: Schedule chore for a specific time

Thanks

I assume I would put this in the prolog tab of the TI process?

Re: Schedule chore for a specific time

Thanks Jim. I did think about doing that but there is not an option to schedule the chore to only run it from 8am to 6pm. Do you know how to do that?

Thanks

Schedule chore for a specific time

I would like to have a chore run only M-F from 8am to 6pm. I would imagine I put the syntax in the prolog tab of the TI process I am running in the chore. Can anyone help me with the syntax. I would be forever greatful.

Thanks,

Mark

Re: Feeder with N: not working in feeder

Thanks for the help! I finally figured out what you were saying. Here is the final result that worked. #Feeds historical (Actuals for Forecast Base of Actual and Previous Year from Forecast Base of Forecast) from the Unit Record cube to the Base version# ['Units','Haul','Base'] = N:DB('Unit Record',...

Re: Feeder with N: not working in feeder

Michel, I see your point and I have changed the rule and the feeder to the following: Rule ['Units','Base'] = N:DB('Unit Record', 'ASHI Consolidated', !CoCost, 'ASHI Consolidated', !Customer Accounts, 'Total', 'Total', !Load Type, IF((ATTRS('Month', !Month, 'Forecast Base')@='Actual'),!Month,ATTRS('...

Re: Feeder with N: not working in feeder

Almost. The rule pulls from the previous year if the Forecast Base is "Forecast" and not "Actual". This was put in there so we don't have to use the most current month if know there are going to be adjustments made to the month.

Re: Feeder with N: not working in feeder

Michel, For the current year if the month has final numbers I want the actuals, if not I want to pull in the previous years numbers. This will be the base of the forecast. I will build on the Actuals+Previous year to make the new forecast numbers. For example, Jan-Jun has the actual units and then I...

Re: Feeder with N: not working in feeder

Martain, Thanks for the quick reply. I tried to input the dimension name before without the single quotes and it can't find the dimension. This is probably becasue Disp Term, Haul Term, Drop Term and CoCost are all identical. They are the same because of our network structure. Anyway. I actually get ...

Feeder with N: not working in feeder
