Thanks Wim,
I see now why it does not work and I agree that one subset per month would be the cleanest solution.

Re: Dependent dynamic picklist not recalculating
If I sepcify the other dimension, the subset is not dependent on the rows (different selection per loan). Example: {FILTER(TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( TM1SUBSETALL( [PeriodMonthly] ), 0),[PeriodMonthly].CurrentMember.NAME > [Input loans].([Loans].[New loan 5],[Loan Input Parameters].[Start Month]))} Via the e...

Dependent dynamic picklist not recalculating
Hi all, I am working on a loan model. The goal is to create a dropdown for end month, containing only periods later than the start date (see screenshot). I have a loan cube with two dimensions: loan name and Loan Input Parameters. I have a picklist cube where I reference the below subset. {FILTER(TM...

Re: User's active sandbox
Hi,
Thanks for the clear explanation.
However, published .XLSM files are not being shown in the workspace. (they are public).

Re: User's active sandbox
They need to be saved as XLSM to include buttons nowadays... I think it is supposed to prompt you to save as XLSM first when you try and publish. Apologies, I meant xlsm. xlsm files are not shown in the application folder in paw. And I do not think this workaround will work, sinse pax has the same ...

Re: User's active sandbox
Thanks for the quick response, I will raise a suggestion with IBM for syncing sandboxes on process buttons. About the workaround. How do I publish a Websheet with an action button? When published .xlsx files are not shown in the application folder. Also, when selecting the sandbox in excel it is the...

User's active sandbox
Hi all, I am having trouble with getting the TI process to use a user’s active sandbox data. Consider the following case. I have a TI process where SetUseActiveSandboxProperty(1) is activated. The TI process is triggered from PAW, where the users sandbox is selected. The TI process does not recognis...

Re: Suppress zero PAX
Hi, Your solution worked. It must indeed have been an issue with the calculation order at the time the dynamic report is initially populated. Try using Excel Validations to drive the pick list rather than the subnm. The Excel validtion list could be populated using Subnms against your Base subset. I...

Re: Suppress zero PAX
Hi, Thanks for the response. Usually, I derive 12 periods from a single subnm selection cell. The problem that I am having is that the column (period) information is not used as input, unless I explicitly type a period in one of the cells. Some additional information: - My ranges go far enough. - Th...

Suppress zero PAX
Hi, I am having an issue with supress zeros in a dynamic report. When the first column element is typed, supress zero’s works correctly. When the first column element is selected via a SUBNM("PeriodMonthly";"Base";"202101") dropdown, the other column elements are no lon...

Re: Refresh subnm mdx subset in pax
Thanks for the responses. I'd suggest you reference the MDX directly in the report row formula, rather than indirectly via the subset. This ought to resolve / workaround the issue. One of the other arguments allows you to reference a MDX directly, you'll need to take away the reference to the subset...

Re: Refresh subnm mdx subset in pax
Sorry I missed the SUBNM in the post. Can you confirm it is a name not an index? You would probably still need it to be an index for it to show the revised element selection. In the process that adds the element do you have a RefreshMDXHierarchy( vDim ) in the Epilog? Another possibility might be a...

Refresh subnm mdx subset in pax
Hi, I have a subnm selection box that does not update properly (not after rebuild sheet/book), only after double clicking. I have a process that adds a new element to a dimension (insert direct). After refreshing, my dynamic report is updated, but my subnm selection list isn't. Both depart from the ...

Yes, the service is installed and running.
The behaviour that I get is, the pax report loads for a minute and then turns into a white screen.

Pax report in new version of PAW
Hi,
We upgraded to 2.0.57 in PAW (new experience), but we are unable to show PAX reports.
For PAX we have version 11.0.58, is this an issue of compatibility?

Use FAP dimensions in other cubes?
Hi, I had an issue with publishing data from within Cognos Controller to the FAP. The issue is probably due to the fact that I use the FAP dimensions in a new reporting cube? What is the best way to work with dimensions create by the FAB? Do I need to create a process that copies the FAB dimensions ...
