It would depend if you are trying to use the same database.
Once you have upgraded to 64bit and opened the database there's no going back.
Make sure you keep a copy of the 32 bit version of the database

I have found that in 9.4 QUDEFINE and QUDEFINEEX macros are broken and the do not work as well as the QUEXPORT Have upgrade however to 9.4 MR1 FP2 and even added the Hotfix 16 but found that the performance is still terribly slow – we have updated the server resources which has made no difference ...
