Inconsistent top/bottom filter in PAW

Team, We use the Top/Bottom filter in PAW to list Favorable and unfavorable P&L lines against budget. We have two views, one that shows Top 5 lines and the other that shows bottom 5 lines. For the Top 5 filter, sometimes the view only shows positive values and ignores negative values. For ex, it...

FP&A Business Knowledge for TM1

Hello Guys,

What should one do to gain FP&A business knowledge? How can one learn about concepts like budgeting, forecasting, price and volume variance, expense allocations..etc? Are there any books/courses out there which help in understanding these from an organizational or tm1 perspective?

Rules effect on a Data load

Hello All, We have a cube 'A' which has a lot of rules and feeders in it. When i try to load the data via a TI (around 84 millions records!), the speed is really slow. However, if i load the same data into a cube that doesn't have any rules, its way faster. Does this mean that the rules affect data ...

Thank you for the reply.
Yes. We have ruled out User-error. We have informed IBM regarding this and they said that it might be related to conditional statements in the feeders.

Data Change after refresh in report

Hello All, We have an application that the users use for long range planning. This server crashed two weeks back and we(and IBM) couldn't find the root cause of the crash. So IBM has asked us to turn on the clearfreedmemory in cfg file in order to find out the cause if it happens again. After gettin...

Hello guys,

We have a chore file that has to be set to run at 6 pm. We have set it up in architect at 6 pm, while in paw it is showing as 7 pm. For someone who is using paw, how would they know in which timezone it is set in?

Thank you.
