Some additional information on this.

The issue appears to occur after he logs in.
If I add him back and refresh security he remains in the group.
As soon as he logs into TM1, he disappears from the group.

If I open a cube view in PAx via "Open in Viewer" and I modify the view, can I save the modified view in the cube itself so that when I connect to the cube in the future I will see that view available?

How do I access private cube views? I am the the TM1 Administrator and have full admin rights. Is there a folder where i can see private views that users have created?

This user is only is this specific group, no others.

Is is possible for a user to create view of the cube and save it as a public view. My users can only save their views as private. The option to save them as public is greyed out. Is there some security setting that I need to adjust?

I was able to create a folder under applications. Now I would like to copy a view under the new folder so that it can be shared by mulitple users.

Can a user create a public view of a cube or are all views private for users (other than Admin)?

Is is possible to create a folder to store a cube view in? This is in TM1 classic, not PAX.

I am looking for documentation which explains the differences and advantages of Planning Analytics vs. TM1. Want to understand how it is used for reporting and what the interface looks like and functions vs. TM1.
