My bad, no it is not it's just total_cost=cost_per_unit * quantity. N level elements.

Re: Feeders evaluation

My question is why given cube like this (with more dimensions, large cube, just simplest slice for reference) Capture.PNG feeder ['item':'cost_per_unit']=>['item':'total_cost']; should take longer to process than ['fiscal_year':{'2020','2021','2022'},'item':'cost_per_unit']=>['item':'total_cost']; o...

Feeders evaluation

Hi All, we've had problem with time taking server to start, most time consumed by processing feeders in one cube. Colleague updated most rules in the cube in this fashion: ['item':'cost_per_unit']=>['item':'total_cost']; -> ['fiscal_year':{'2020','2021','2022'},'item':'cost_per_unit']=>['item':'tota...

Re: PA Workspace - what can it do?

Thanks all for valueable ideas! - ItemReject indeed solves (somehow unexpectedly) the problem with custom messages which I had. - Using "front-end" selection/picklist cube for passing parameters to process is .. well, why not, I can definitely imagine using it, but quite different way of d...

PA Workspace - what can it do?

Hello, we're starting a new project and it's been decided to do it only in PAW. My problem is I just don't see it happening as it just doesn't have many features needed to make a functional application. I've been reading through other older topics and PA Workspace documentation and just wanted to co...

Re: CellIncrementN and BatchUpdate Mode

Hi Lotsaram, Definitely not getting the ~40k cells/s processing speed - will try to implement point 3) instead of batchUpdate (of which purpose is the same - stop processing rules and feeders while running the process). I have no experience using RunProcess, but definitely will give it a shot when t...

Re: CellIncrementN and BatchUpdate Mode

Why are you using BatchUpdate? This is something I haven't used since ParallelInteraction was introduced. I really don't see a need for it in PA. If you think I'm wrong, convince me otherwise. How else can you move large-ish amount of data between cubes/within cube in reasonable time? I'm asking be...

Re: CellIncrementN and BatchUpdate Mode

Sorry for performing necromancy..
Does anyone have update on this? Just encountered exactly the same issue as Paul on PA 2.0.

Pop-up message in perspectives

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to show customized confirmation/failure pop-up message in perspectives and TM1 web? I know you can set generic pop-up message in process options in Perspectives, but I'd prefer to show message based on underlying process. E.g.: Action button in Perspectives r...
