Ok, so the config file hasn't been overwritten when you copied the original db folder.
Your File locations have been changed as well, I presume?

Is your client - eg Architect/Perspectives looking at local server or have you specified the admin host IP address?

We use perspectives via Citrix for user interaction, because our users need access to Rules Tracer.

I couldn't find a specific mention of rules tracer being available in PAX.

To clarify, the issue is a view created in perspectives (within the GUI, not a slice) takes longer then Architect.
