Re: PAX Formula Issues
I found the information about arrays, so my question is: is there a way to disable this functionality in Excel?

PAX Formula Issues
I am experiencing the whole bunch of issues in PAX, and since they are inconsistent, I suspect they might be related to Excel. First, when a dynamic report is created in PAX from a cube view, every DBRW, SUBNM or report view related formula gets "@" in front of it. The report works with &q...

Re: PAX Dynamic Report is not rendering to TM1 Web
Since I figured it out, I'll post the solution:
It looks like this version of Planning Analytics has an issue reading aliases. All row dimension elements should have principal names.

PAX Dynamic Report is not rendering to TM1 Web
Hello, I found several discussions about this issue, but none of them actually answered a question why dynamic reports are not properly rendering in TM1 Web. I am on Planning Analytics and PAX 2.0.6 and I have a dynamic report with four row dimensions, one of which (Time) is based on the subset crea...

Re: Use TM1RunTI in the TM1 process
My response that I cannot install anything on IBM cloud addressed the suggestion to use RushTi. It is my first time trying to create a multi-threaded process. I have an idea how to do it, and my question was about thread control. If I have 10 threads and 20 processes, how do I tell the 11th process ...

Use TM1RunTI in the TM1 process
I'd like to create a multi-threaded TM1 process that will run a TI for each month in the time dimension. The idea is to create a loop that will pick a month and then use TM1RunTI to call another process that will use a month as a parameter that will be passed to a SQL query. My issue is that I have ...

Re: Use subsets in DBRW
That's what I was trying to avoid, and in fact there is a work around - create a hidden dynamic report with the given subset in the TM1RPTROW and a sum underneath, then refer the sum.

Use subsets in DBRW
I have a report that used a dimension subset in DBRW formula. It worked in Perspectives, but it does not work in PAX custom report. Is there anything that can mimic the functionality besides creating an alternate hierarchy in the dimension? Virtual dimensions don't work in the custom reports, as far...

Re: PAW is unable to access TM1 databases
I found messages.log file on the server, the only issue I see is Java security certificate is not trusted. I guess I need to finish SSL install before I can test the server.

PAW is unable to access TM1 databases
Hello, Here is an issue. I created a new PAW server to replace an old one. The configuration is the same, and it accesses the same TM1 admin and web server. However, all databases that I still see on old server are not available on the new one. I can successfully login and create a new book, but the...

Re: TM1 Instance is crashing because the process cannot access its own log file
Looks like it's not only metadata that affects it.

Single Sign On problem
I am trying to set up SSO in Planning Analytics 2.0.6 and Cognos 11.0.12, security mode 5. I can use CAM to login, and it works without issues in all applications. The problem is particularly SSO, I am always prompted for user id and password. In Architect if I login once, then log out and login aga...

Re: TM1 Instance is crashing because the process cannot access its own log file
It looks like the new version of TM1 is handling multi-threading differently. The root cause was that the process was in conflict with SaveDataAll process.

Re: TM1 Instance is crashing because the process cannot access its own log file
Thank you for your reply. Do you mean Microsoft Process Explorer? It does not exist on the server as of right now. Is there any other way to identify what could lock the file right after it was created by a process?

TM1 Instance is crashing because the process cannot access its own log file
The issue started after an upgrade to Planning Analytics 2.0.35. One of the instances is constantly crashing with the same error message: 153712 [] FATAL 2019-04-25 10:06:48.917 TM1.System.File TM1 Server Abort: sf_Write() - Write error on file "d:\tm1\dbname\logs\TM1ProcessError_20190425100638...

Re: TI processes significantly slower after upgrade from TM1 10.2.2 to TM1 2.0
It is another TM1 database that's running on the same server. The processes allocate data that's loaded from files that are also on the same server.

TI processes significantly slower after upgrade from TM1 10.2.2 to TM1 2.0
Hello, I have a bunch of processes that significantly slowed down after an upgrade from 10.2.2 to 2.0. The process that used to take 2 minutes now takes 20. There are no changes in the configuration file, and ForceReevaluationOfFeedersForFedCellsOnDataChange is set to "T" on both old and n...

TM1 Operations Console Problem
Hello,
Here is an issue:
When I open Ops Console Login page, I do not see anything in Namespace drop-down.
I added default admin host in the configuration, still namespace is empty.
What is that I am missing?
Thanks.
