more generic style for rule area
Hello all, I wrote a rule to set an indicator for changed values in spite of distributing those along their children (a handmade spreading function, finally). I use the concept to have a N-element outside of the main hierarchy for each C-element I want to be able to be a starting point of this sprea...

TM1Web Export to Snapshot: Some new lines omitted
I enhanced a websheet adding a new line (contains a new short Active Form which shows by design only one line). On screen anything works fine. But when exporting to Excel snapshot, the new line will not appear, all the other content gets exported. TM1 10.2.0 FP3 on Win Server 2008 R2 Ent., Excel 201...

Re: TM1 Licensing Clarification
I encountered so many pitfalls about Bigfix and ILMT that I would have to write a book about it. The actual version of BigFix 9.5 seems to be incompatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 Ent., at least we didn't manage to install it on this platform, even not together with some IBM supporters who really...

Re: PA 2 SSL_TLSv2
I managed to come over the problems partly: I installed an IBM Java 7 instead of a kind of openJava already installed into the CentOS7 by default then the import of the certificate into the keystore worked as described into the tm1_inst.pdf and also I changed the URLs in CogConfig.sh from localhost ...

Re: Upgrading from 10.2.2 to Planning Analytics Local
I installed for evaluation purposes a PA2 local in a Virtualbox (using CentOS 7). You need to take care to use a Java JRE listed in the supported environments portal from IBM, although the tm1_inst manual indicates that IBM won't deliver a JAVA jre and the admin has to provide one. The preinstalled ...

PA 2 SSL_TLSv2
Hello all, I just installed PA 2.0.3 into a Linux VM (CentOS 7 on Virtualbox 5.2, Host Win10 Pro 64 Bit). It works as I can start Cognos Configuration and the processes (Admin Server, TM1 Server, Planning Sample). I configured the support for pre-TLS1.2 clients to true. But although I can see the lo...

Cognos Integration Server
Does somebody know something about Cognos Integration Server?
Seems to be a descendant from Cognos Business Viewpoint Server?
Or a comeback of Cognos Data Manager?
Maybe a mixup from both?

Re: Worksheets PROD vs TEST environments
Hello Ben, if you are connected to TEST when developing the sheet and then upload it, it will only show up on TEST. To deploy it to PROD you need to open the sheets file (xlsx) using perspectives connected to PROD (possibly on the PROD machine) and then upload the well tested sheet again. This alway...

I meant this style (amended assigments for demo):
Thanks, Tiago
But I think, the solution from tiagoblauth79 is much more elegant using attributes. I will keep this in mind for my own purposes too. Thanks, Tiago

Re: Dynamic subset based on a cube value, with another dimension
Elessar, my point was to add an additional dim which has the only function to distinguish the particular versions of dept/product-mappings: Dept_2_Prod_Mapping.png -All_products: the products dim -All_selling_depts: dim of departments, which are those you want to map to a product -Contexts_of_depts:...

Re: TM1 Web Application going down on regular basis
I had this issue also one time, this solved it for me: http://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=11473 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21669247 C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\tomcat\bin --> CMD(Admin) --> tomcat6w.exe //ES//pmpsvc --> JAVA-Sheet (see behind the 1st link, post from...

Re: Transfer rule value to other cube using TI
I had a (maybe) similar issue, and could solve it. My view (TI's sourceview) shows interactively also C-elements, but the TI does only log out N-element's values. Before, I tweaked the view using the data source selectors GUI, and there I checked on to skip the consolidations. In the TI-view generat...

Re: Dynamic subset based on a cube value, with another dimension
If you need these Dept-2-Products mappings per department, couldn't you create an additional dimension "DeptSlicer" (consisting of elements Dept1, Dept2,...,DeptN)? Then you just need to incorporate this dimension into your dynamic subset MDX to slice and get the particular mapping that ad...

Re: TI view wizard filters by code?
This is, what I was seeking for. Unfortunately I am on 10.2.0 actually, but this is really a remarkable feature. The link didn't work for me, this one (shortened) leads to the description: https://ibm.co/2fx0FYn This I will check out first when going to PA 2.0 :) To filter values with oldschool MDX ...

Re: TI view wizard filters by code?
This was my first thought, too. As I did it with MSAS or (indirect) in Cognos BI. But with TM1 I always encountered MDX together with dimensions/subsets (and when extracting data from ODBO). So I already derived dynamic subsets via MDX inside a dimension (also used the MDX primer to learn how to do ...

TI view wizard filters by code?
I'm looking for the value filtering options offered in TI when assigning the data source, but without defining them via GUI. I want to perform the filtering of vaules when defining the whole view, which I'm doing anyway by code in Prologue. I mean these options here: TI_Datasource_CreateView_Filteri...

Your calculation option in Excel is on automatic? Could be done by this setting via code: https://msdn.microsoft.com/VBA/Excel-VBA/articles/worksheet-enablecalculation-property-excel or in the ribbon Formula/watch out for the calculator-symbol, here in german, but might look similar in english: EXCE...

Declan, thank you very much.
Simple and helpful, it is back in the desired condition regarding the duplicates. The missing headline "-" stays, but is filled in TM1web, which is the important thing.

Re: Use Active Form but found duplicate Hierachy
I encounter also to this problem, and also to an TM1RPTROW-Formula, which doesn't resolve the subset in Perspectives, but later in TM1Web it does. My version indeed is 10.2.0 FP3 and my Excel is 2013 (for development clientside) resp. 2010 (on the server). Here the appearence: ActReportNoneOrDuplica...

Aaarghh, indeed it WAS a dummy question, just oversaw the missing cubename in DB-formula while thinking around potential errors in ATTRS.
