Re: Summation on consolidation levels depending on security

this is not a solution as my hierarchies are predefined by the data in the database That's your problem. Nothing stopping you importing secondary hierarchies from a flat file though. By predefined I mean they have to be like that and I mustn't change them. I know how to change existing hierarchy, b...

Re: Summation on consolidation levels depending on security

In your situation where the object you are using to manage access cuts across the another structure then you probably need to modify your alternate hierarchy to include Categories, this will mean concatenating Category and Supplier codes. Revised Alt hierarchy, you can use the current L3 security b...

Re: Summation on consolidation levels depending on security

I am afraid that this will not be resolved in coming fixes. This is the way that TM1 security paradigm is and has been "always". And like I said, we can argue whether this implementation is correct or not. In my opinion, the existing way is the correct one - if you enable user to see cons...

Re: Summation on consolidation levels depending on security

Thank you for your answer. I have read that this is so, but I was hoping that this was resolved with new fix packs or something, because for me this doesnčt make any sense. I know the workaround, but I would like to not having to do them every time I have his situation, and that is often. Either way...

Summation on consolidation levels depending on security

Hi! My situation is following. I have a cube with 4 dimensions: - Time diimension t_mjesec (holds four next months and previous month) - Measures dimension m_prodaja (consists of 4 measures, on image is show Prijedlog Plana - Proposed Plan) - Hierarchy dimension h_artikl (created using data from the...

Re: Error: Data reservation required (TM1 Web App)

What mode are you using for data reservations? If you're using REQUIREDSHARED, then the TI should be able to obtain the necessary DRs regardless of whether other users have DRs on the same cells. If this isn't working, what is the exact error message? It's very difficult to answer your questions wh...

Yes, I know, but I am trying do avoid creating additional cubes.
Do you maybe know of any other, more elegant solution?

Re: Error: Data reservation required (TM1 Web App)

- try to write to a cube that does not have the approval hierarchy; as much as I remember such a cube is not included in the data reservation when you take ownership, release, or submit a node; Cubes in which processes write in this case do not have approval hierarchy in them so we didn't have prob...

Error: Data reservation required (TM1 Web App)

Hi! We have a problem with running processes from TM1 Web Application. We have made few cubes, and posted it through Performance Modeler onto TM1 Web. Users should go to the Application on the web and fill cubes with data. There are few users, each responsible for part of the data (security is set s...
