Re: No Data Tree in PAW 2.0.49 with error 500 javax.crypto.BadPaddingException
If PAW/PA are installed on the same server, then you need to specify the IP4 or IP6 in TM1s.cfg IPAddressV4="10.109.241.121" https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSD29G_2.0.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.tm1_inst.2.0.0.doc/c_ipaddressv4_tm1cfg.html IPAddressV6="0ff1:aa00:4125:2:a05:f7...

Re: DatasourceUsername and DatasourcePassword
1. The service id used to start TM1 can be use for Windows Authentication to your ODBC data source. This is automatically done if you do not put a username and password in the TI Process and if your ODBC Data Source has Windows Authentication enabled for your TM1 service ID. BTW, by setting the serv...

Re: kinit error - Tm1web SSO with Kerberos authentication
This can be a lot of things but I can vaguely rememeber two things that did: 1. On the Account tab in Active Directory, I believe the user name should be something like HTTP/username.domain When you create the SPN this is automatically done, but sometime it doesn't work right for whatever reason. 2....

Re: Quick Reports and MDX
While I 100% agree this should be done in the GUI, you can still make an Quick Report to function as an Active Report with minimal VBA 1. Create a dynamic MDX generator in Excel. You can use Exploration Report to give you an idea on how to create the MDX 2. Create a Quick Report where it needs to be...

I noticed that on custom and dynamic reports, excel circular references from any open workbook will break refreshes.

I don't have this problem in PA 2.0.8 and I'm pretty sure it wasn't in 2.0.6 either

Re: Drill-through to a cube view
Not exactly sure what it means that a Drill-Through is not actually a saved view. Are you saying it is not creating a view and assigning subsets to it? There isn't a view name listed in any of the TM1 user interfaces. However, you basically have full control of the Drill-Through "view" th...

Re: Drill-through to a cube view
I normally copy the ReturnViewHandle below the generated section then go to the data source and set to none. I generally only need the parameters so that I can build and assign the view in Prolog. No need for Metadata and data. YMMV Bingo, this did it. The view name will name will show up as "...

Re: PAW is not creating any containers in windows after installing 2.0.44
From my experience, PAW 2.0.44 upgrade failed on two different servers while the previous 5 or so releases worked fine. However, PAW 2.0.44 did work on a fresh install of Windows with default docker configuration. I think there is an issue with the PAW 2.0.44 installer which will probably be fixed i...

TM1 to HANA integration isn't really different and works as expected. I have connected TM1 to HANA with and without SSO/SSL

Re: Urgent, Collapse / Expand in Websheet moves data!!!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure I ran into this issue last year on TM1 10.2 FP2 but it was "fixed" in the following interim fix pack. My memory may not be perfect, but I can confirm this isn't a problem in TM1 10.2.2 FP2 (TM1 10.2.2.2). IBM "fixed" it by simply undoing the data change (green fon...
