Re: No hierarchy in contributor view

Thank you!

if that's a fact then we cannot use this toll. Because we need the consolidations in that hierarchy and the planer need the structurs to find the nodes (it's a quit long list of products).

No hierarchy in contributor view

Hi, I tried to publish a cube under cognos express 9.5 It's quite simple and has only 3 dimensions: products, versions and measures. The hierarchy for contributor is defined in the products dimension. When I publish the cube via planning administration I have a correct reviewer hierarchy (brand --> ...

Re: Transfer data between "similar" dimensions

Hi, there are different reasons why there are 3 cubes (different planning periods, different logic in some rules, ...). I know the db-rule and I had no problems when I move data from a cube to another with the same dimension(s). Maybe I missunderstand something but i cannot find the solution for my ...

Re: Transfer data between "similar" dimensions

Hi Allan, That's a possible workaround - thank you very much. The labels/attributes are not so readable due to the cominbations (the hierarchy is much complexer than in my sample) but at least it should work. I did not except to solve the problem in that way - I still think a bit in "Enterprise...

Transfer data between "similar" dimensions

Hi, following situation: I have 3 cubes with individual product dimensions, 1 cube per saison. Now I would need a summary cube that contains all products of this saisonal cubes. Due to the structure I see no chance to have only 1 product-dimension and work with a subset per saisons cube. Example: Pr...

Re: Rules Editor - Auto Tabs

Hi,

yes I'm sure (and I also searched for any other tm1p.ini file and changed it). And as I wrote it is the same after a installation on a clean machine. I have installed CX for many times but I never had this behavior

Re: Rules Editor - Auto Tabs

Re: Rules Editor - Auto Tabs

Hi Michel,

thank you for your answer. I restarted the server because I just worked on it (with the architect) ... so it's strange and it is not really possible to work with rules as it is now.

Best regards
Klaus

Rules Editor - Auto Tabs

Hi, I detected a strange think in Architect (Cognos Express 9.5). After I activated and opened the advanced rules editor it behaved in a strange way: on every click with the mouse an tab is inserted - so working with it is not really possible. So I decided to de-active the advanced option againg - b...

Re: Tm1 Contributor - auto calculate

I continued my tests and I discovered something ... wenn I start Tm1Web (!) I do not have the Cube-Viewer I know (in the documentation-pdf there screenshots - they look like the Tm1-Web i know). Instead there is also the contributor interface - and in this tm1-web/contributor I can turn on autocalcu...

Tm1 Contributor - auto calculate

Hi, as I worked with Cognos Planning and TM1 I was very courious about Contributor for TM1. Now I tested it but I miss option for activation autocalculation . If you are familar with Contributor-Web it is very inconvenient to press the "calculate" button each time you change a selection. D...

Customizing Maps in TM1

Hi, I am using Cognos BI for some years and know I am making tests with TM1 respectively Cognos Express to evaluate with product fits best for different projects. In Executive Viewer the visualisation with maps is quite easy but the layout of these maps is not that what we require. In Cognos BI you ...
