Re: How to FEED??? Going crazy...

Steve Rowe... :) MY MAN! I have been struggling with the fact that there are nothing to feed on because FC Volume are calculated in previous years and then "sent forward" by a rule I have. I actaully even thought about creating a measure called "Dummy_measure" and set it to "...

Re: How to FEED??? Going crazy...

Thank you all for your feedback with possible solutions. I understand what you are saying Tomok. My problem is that I cant feed like you suggest: ['All Input','FC Volume'] => ['All Products','FC Calculated volume']; The reason for this is: The elementreference 'All Input' on the left hand side is fr...

Re: How to FEED??? Going crazy...

It actually didnt work... I have checked that: ['FC Calculated volume'] => ['FC Calculated sales'] and ['FC Calculated sales'] => ['FC Sales USD'] ..but still problems. Must I go even further "back" in the chain? Because ['FC Calculated volume'] is depending on a measure called ['FC Volume...

How to FEED??? Going crazy...

Hi I am starting to loose my mind here. I am desperately trying to get a feeder to work but nothing seems to work. Am I experienced in TM1? No, not really. I could really need some help if anyone have the time. The measure I would like to feed is called 'FC Sales USD' . That measure is defined like ...

Re: Pick values from different version

Thanks for your replies... Even if your answers wasnt spot on they made me think and I will probably take the volumes from another cube where version is always the same.

Pick values from different version

Hi, I have a problem. I have created a rule that looks like below. In short, I would say its some kind of "statistical model". It looks for the last two months volumes and then divide that by a value called "denominiator". That value, for example 0,25 is then used to calculate fo...

Re: Pasting values in Excel to DBRW

Hi Alan, I have just completed the installation of TM1 Tools and the customer is really happy with (almost) everything... ;) What is really crucial is that they need to be able to do the "bulk paste" in active forms and I found this thread and read your last post... Did you come up with a ...

Re: Inter cube calculaton (3 cubes)

Thanks for your answer/question adamTm1, Actually it is the complete opposite, "dummy_plant" is the one of the plants that I am not that interested in. If that one is fed - no problem but the other plants (100,200, All Plants) is the ones I care about and offcourse that for example product...

Re: Inter cube calculaton (3 cubes)

Hi, Thanks for your answers. Yes, I wrote "a simpler example" because I thought it would be easier to understand but maybee its not, sorry about that. Ok, again, here is the example: Cube DM is calculating the element "Sales" by multipling like (and this works): ['Sales'] = N:DB(...

Inter cube calculaton (3 cubes)

Hi, I am quit new to TM1 and have run in to a problem. I have three cubes, lets call them CubeA, CubeB and CubeC. CubeA has an element called A_element that is calculated. CubeB has an element called B_element that should be multiplied by a value from CubeC. C has two dimensions and in the intersect...

Spread values from string picklist

Hi gurus, To simplify, consider the following setup: Dimensions Product Year Month Measure The measuredimensions consists of one picklistelement (string) and one value called volume. If the user set the picklistelement to "Hello" under "2015" and "All Month" (stacked co...

Re: MDX filter subset

Here are the solution (eventhough it will not work for me): {FILTER( TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( {TM1SUBSETALL([Cost element Group])} ,0,2,3,4,5,6), [CostBudg Controlcube].([CC_and_IO].CurrentMember) >0 )} That brings all the levels. My problem is that I have the same element under different consolidated leve...

Re: MDX filter subset

Thank you lotsaram... Your right, I am filtering the "Cost element Group" dimension. I am not sure what you mean with "you cant use CurrentMember"... This MDX-function goes to the cube [CostBudg Controlcube] and looks for all Cost element Groups for a specific CostCenter (CC_and_...

MDX filter subset

Hi I am new to TM1 and I have run in to a problem. I need to filter a dimension using a MDX statement that is refering to a kind of controlcube that I created. That cube consists of two dimensions with consolidated elements with elements below (like a hierarchy). Everything works fine accept for the...
