Re: Windows 7, TM1 Perspectives and Ctrl+Alt+Del
That's interesting; you're seeing it on 10 and I'm not (though I'm 10.1.1) BUT I'm now wondering if perhaps it's the x64 thing that makes a difference; that it's a Windows issue rather than a specifically TM1 issue. Most of the previous posts haven't said which incarnation of Win 7 they're using. M...

Re: Windows 7, TM1 Perspectives and Ctrl+Alt+Del
Thought about that and it happens if I hold down Ctrl + Alt and then press Delete.Alan Kirk wrote:If you're trying to hit all three simultaneously I'm wondering if the [Del] could actually be sneaking through first. (Though if that's all it is it's curious that Gabor is reporting the same behaviour.)

Windows 7, TM1 Perspectives and Ctrl+Alt+Del
I have just had my work laptop "upgraded" and am now running Windows 7 - previously XP - and have noticed something strange when locking the screen. If my active window is TM1 Perspectives and I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del (so I can then select lock the screen), it actually sends a Delete command to ...

Re: Assign costs to higher levels
Hopefully I've understood the question correctly, but coud you not insert notional n level elements for each consolidation. Σ Business Unit ╠ Σ Business Centre1 ║ ╠ n Employee 1 ║ ╠ n Employee 2 ║ ╚ n N_Business Centre1 ╠ Σ Business Centre2 ║ ╠ n Employee 3 ║ ╠ n Employee 4 ║ ╚ n N_Business Centre2 ...

Re: Issues with Turbo Integrator Error log
There should be a file in the format TM1ProcessError_ccyymmddhhmmss_process name.log in the folder on the server where your log files are stored.
This will contain details of the errors.

Re: TM1 9.5.1 x64 on Win 03R2 Turbo Integrator Crashing
Using the sophisticated 'Turbo Integrator' editor, I blindly smashed out a few more lines in my previously working TI process.. (is it just me or would features like easy indentation , sectioning, step through & debug be nice to have or is a plain text editor from the 60's the preferred?). Sorr...

Re: Dimension question
Many thanks to all for your suggestions. We do indeed have cubes already built and populated but we are just about to embark on redesigning our cubes, so I will probably need to look at both approaches to be honest. As Steve alluded to, there may well be more questions to come. However, I'll spend s...

Dimension question
I have a question regarding dimensions and, as I'm very new to TM1, I thought it might be easier to ask a question straight away rather than banging my head against a wall for 2 days and then asking for help. We have cubes set up for different parts of our business and each is made up of the same nu...

Re: DatasourceCubeView question
A classic error here is to set the view to export what you want, but one of the dimensions references a C level. If you don't uncheck the ignore C levels option (programmatically in the TI) then the view delivers no values. You obviously can find the help file so I'll leave you to track down the co...

Re: DatasourceCubeView question
So I now have 2 processes and for the purposes of this I will refer to them (unimaginatively) as P1 and P2. However, I am having problems in that the asciioutput on the data tab of P2 does not seem to run at all. I'm hoping I've missed something very obvious but I don't know what so am hoping someon...

Re: DatasourceCubeView question
You might want to try stating what you are trying to do again and also post some code and screenshots as it really isn't clear what you are trying to do. If I understand the section I have quoted then possibly you are well and truly off track! You cannot use DataSourceNameForServer and DatasourceCu...

Re: DatasourceCubeView question
Hello and welcome to the world of TM1. I hope in brings you as much fun as the rest of us!! Jim, not sure if fun is the word, but thanks Now if I get the nature of your query right then you may want to look at the TI function asciioutput. This is used within the data / metadata tabs to ou...

DatasourceCubeView question
Firstly, let me put things in perspective. Until 2 weeks ago I had never seen TM1 in any shape or form and I am now working as a TM1 developer. (My new boss did know this so I haven't claimed I knew TM1 to get the job - I just have a development background). I am the only TM1 developer in the office...
