Try restarting your TM1 excel service. The same problem happened to me recently.

We are using TM1 via Excel primarily and I've come across a few issues. 1) If we use Active Forms via Excel, Excel formatting does not hold when we choose a new element in the model or recalculate 2) If we use Slice, we cannot copy and paste like we can in active forms as it doesn't refresh the data...
