Re: Using TI to build an Alternate Hierarchy
How does that happen? I need to figure out how to make the other guys (E,F,G, etc) roll up to ALL OTHER. I can add ALL OTHER just fine. But what next? Copy the metadata down below and turn everything into OTHER... but what next?

Re: Using TI to build an Alternate Hierarchy
So...the actual difficulty lies in this fact: the data gives 12 of these parents. I need to figure out how to make the other guys (E,F,G, etc) roll up to ALL OTHER.

Using TI to build an Alternate Hierarchy
I hope this is not too confusing but I have a dimension that gets rebuilt every morning from an odbc source. These are 155,000 pieces of Equipment at the element level rolling up as follows: Top (1) MCDs (12) AGroups (35) CClasses (1500) Equipment (155,000+) ...and the new business view (BV) require...

Re: Refuses to be fed...hunger strike?

Re: Refuses to be fed...hunger strike?
Added a 12MonthsAhead attribute but still no luck... I checked to make sure and 201304's 12 MonthsAhead is working. See attached.

Re: Refuses to be fed...hunger strike?
Thanks Jim. Yes Rentalamount comes in via TI and does not need feeding. Not sure why I thought it should be fed. One of those things where you're too close so you quit seeing things. I will create a 12MonthsForward attribute and give your feeder a try.

Refuses to be fed...hunger strike?
Anybody ever come across a cube that refuses to be fed? This cube really has no N or C rules and uses ELLEV to get to the right levels of data. This is 3 years of daily rental rates for Rental Cars and Rental Equipment and whatnot - so we have to average the rates across time but aggregate the Equip...

TI process to create rolling QTD hierarchy
Anybody ever done a rolling QTD hierarchy? I need TI to automate the process of building a rolling Quarter-to-Date hierarchy. I have been successful in YTD and MTD, but those are both a little flatter and simpler. The process needs to look at the Current Date, and figure out that May-13-2014 (vRenam...
