how to change the date format like
if i had date like "07-jan-2008"
i like to have only ''jan''

i want to know how to add alias to the cube.
After opening the cube by clicking edit button it had an option 'EDIT CUBE ATTRIBUTES'
in that i selected alias button and gave an allias name but how to see the alias name there is no affect to the cube.

can we link the dimensions in cognos TM1.
so, that when i select product line then resp to it's product should be display.
