Re: Multiple TM1web Instances - TM1 10.2.2
Ok, so I was finally able to make it work as expected. Solution below in case someone is looking at similar problem: By default, in tm1web.html file, the program is creating the link with tm1web ( default Tm1 web instance), and that is why even though after creating new TM1 web instances, i was take...

Re: CAFE - User Authentication - ALWAYS need to be ADMIN??
Hi RJ, Thanks for sharing your understanding and findings. As per your suggestion, following: 1) Access works fine in Architect/perspective 2) I also did a test with a test user id, with some groups assigned (not ADMIN), and it works fine and objects are accessible for this user via CAFE (which is a...

CAFE - User Authentication - ALWAYS need to be ADMIN??
Hello, I am trying to setup CAFE for end users. Now, what I found during this process is; a user should be part of ADMIN group to be able to access cubes/views on that TM1 instance via CAFE. Is my understanding correct? Initially, I had users assigned to some user groups (not ADMIN), which resulted ...

Thanks a lot for your explanation. Things are more clearer to me now on how these figures are being calculated and referred to. Will try to perform some tests on sample cubes. Thanks.

Number of fed cells in }statsbycube
I was trying to understand overfeeding and started looking into “}statsbycube” cube. In detail, what the values “no.of. Fed cells” refers t etc etc..? This could be used to check overfeeding in cubes and then restricting rules in possible cases only to specific elements (instead of all elements ) of...

Re: TM1 10.1.1 - Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC
Thanks Duncan for the suggestion. i tried that too, but it didn't worked because the .xlsx sheet somehow got corrupted and thats why none of the above solutions worked in this case. Copied a working version of this .xlsx file from a backup, and now snapshot to excel from TM1Web works fine. Best Rega...

TM1 10.1.1 - Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC
Hi All, we are getting an error as shown in screenshot (attached in this post) , while doing export to snapshot from TM1web for one particular sheet. For other sheets, this feature is working fine and we are getting data exported to excel. I read multiple posts on the forum, and tried some options l...

Re: Copy data from one cube to another
Hi jgd108, create an attribute for each employee as 'Dept' (which will store which dept an employee belong to) create an attribute 'Noofemployee' in Dept dimension, to store information about no.of.employees in a department. ( this can also be stored in a cube) Now, following rule could be used in C...

Re: Execute Multiple TI processes with TM1RUNTI utility
@ rksharmatm1 : PlanningDev has already answered your question - still just wanted to put my 2 cents here. I tried data loading to two separate cubes - by two separate TI processes - both cubes are having shared dimensions - still both processes went parallel. So, it works. Just if I go another ste...

Re: Execute Multiple TI processes with TM1RUNTI utility
If you are purely writing data then you can parallel load multiple cubes even if they share dimensions. With Parallel Interaction turned on the blocking is mainly limited to metadata changes (dimensional updates) and security changes. (There are other things that can cause locking but those are the...

Re: Execute Multiple TI processes with TM1RUNTI utility
I dont think you need 2 config files here. You can specify the process sections [process - process1], [process - process2] in the config file and instead of putting the process= under the [TM1RunTi] section you would specify it on the command line. This will eliminate the need for multiple files. N...

Re: Feed from two source cube
There is another way to do this.. which can simplify the things a bit. I don't know whether you can change your design....May help you.. -->Create a String element ' dummy ' in the measure dimension of Costing Cube. Rules in Costing Cube ['dummy' ]= S: DB('Input Cube', !Version, !Year, !Region, !Peo...

Re: Data extract where leaf value <>0, but consol = 0
If i understand correctly, you want to extract lines for months only if they have non zero values, and for total_Year - extract the line in both the cases, whether it has 0 or any value. create the extract view as you are doing it now just before exporting the data into file, put a IF condition (ass...
