IBM came up with a fix.
Problem seemed to be due to the EXCEL11.XLB file.
I uninstalled everything.
Deleted the EXCEL11.XLB file.
Restarted the PC.
Reinstalled Perspectives 9.5.2 and the add-in worked normally.

Excel crashes after upgrading to 9.5.2 Add-In
Successfully installed 9.5.2 on test server. TM1 Perspectives installation on PCs with Excel 2003 who haven't had any previous TM1 add-in work fine. We don't upgrade often. Have had a long time stable 9.1.4 version of TM1. Finally bit the bullet to move to 9.5.?
