Re: Help with "NOT FED" cells
The numeric feeders fire Once, when you enter the numeric value to source cube. If the condition changes (attribute, dimension change), the rule in target cube realculates correctly every time you open view. But nobody tell feeders to refire, so they remain in their old positions. Another way to re...

Re: Help with "NOT FED" cells
hi, After you had changed the attribute, the rule recalculated well, because rule recalculates every time you open a view. The feeders fed 1 time to the old attribute value, when you entered the values to source cube. After the attribute value had changed, the feeders difn't refire (and sould not) ...

Re: Help with "NOT FED" cells
Possibly due to using an attribute in your target - does reprocessing feeders or changing feeders and saving give you the correct result? I know you said that you made changes to the rule but can you check if when you have the non-feeding scenario, change rule (to re-feed) do you get the correct re...

Help with "NOT FED" cells
Hi all, I have two cubes "linked" by rules. In particular, first cube rule has the following feeder: ['tot amm'] => DB('CE budget', !Azienda, ATTRS('immobilizzazioni', !immobilizzazioni, 'Piano dei Conti'), !Progetti, !Struttura, !Tempo, 'f10', 'Bdg'); while in the rule of the second cube ...

[SOLVED]Re: Performance Modeler Error
I solved analyzing all contents of my database folder. So, starting from a clean database folder, I moved into this clean folder some processes, cubes, rules, etc. of mine. At the end, only 1 process resulted corrupted. This file .pro was in the db folder but it didn't appear in Architect. I removed...

Re: Performance Modeler Error
In my Tm1 Server, I use a "Database" folder used to store all Tm1 objects (cubes, dimensions, rules, TI processes, etc.) This folder is configured in Tm1s.cfg using DataBaseDirectory parameter. If I change this value to another clean database folder all work well!! So, it's an issue relate...

Performance Modeler Error
Hi all, I'm trying to open Performance Modeler (on TM1 10.1.1) but an issue, as showed in the attached picture, occurs, i.e.: The ModelingMDT executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library pm_issue.png I tried to open PM from different clients but the same error occurs. Can an...

[TM1Web] Relative Proportional Spread
Hi all, on Cognos Express 10.2, using TM1Web, I can't spread data using the relative proportional method referring to another cube. Please, see the attached images img1.png img2.png In the second image only a cube is listed in the dropdown list But, using Architect, I can perform a relative proporti...

Concatenate dimension value in a cube measure
Hi all, I have a cube made up by 4 dimensions and 4 string measures. A measure might be calculated (by a rule) concataining the other 3 measure and the dimension values as follows (it's an example): TM1_example.png M1, M2 and M3 can be cancatenated using : ['M4'] = ['M1'] | ['M2'] | ['M3']; How can ...

Action Button issue
Hi all, I create a simple spreadsheet with an action button linked to a process. This process has 3 parameters in input (please see the attached image) process_works.jpg After inserting the button I tested the functionalities immediately and they worked well. So, I saved the spreadsheet. After a day...

Re: Change subset dimension on change other dimension elemen
Hi,
following the cgaunt advice, I solved creating a websheet (so i don't use cube viewer).
In this websheet I put a condition on the year:
if year=2012 then subset1 else subset2
I think isn't the best solution but it works well and is transparent to the user.
Thanks all

Re: Change subset dimension on change other dimension elemen
Hi,
thanks for your answer.
At the moment I'm using the solution you wrote, i.e, I have many cost subsets. After changing year I must edit the subset of my cost dimension.
This isn't good because if the user forgets to perform this action, results are obviously wrong.

Change subset dimension on change other dimension element
Hi all, using cube viewer do you think is possible change a dimension subset automatically after changing an element of another dimension? I would like associate a particular dimension subset to a particular element of another dimension. For example, I could associate 2012 with a particular subset o...

Filter dimension by difference
Hi all, I have a dimension composed by the following elements: A(2012) B(2012) C D(2012) E F14 Create a subset with elements that end with(2012) is easy: I use FILTERBYPATTERN and a string with jolly character *(2012)* But I would like create a subset composed by C E F14 i.e. elements that DON'T end...

Re: Clarification about memory consumption
Sorry to be blunt but I fear that as opposed to the limit of 8GB of RAM the real problem is that you don't know what you are doing and are out of your depth. No problem ;) I'm still learning. I'll do surely better after this (long) discussion that is being very useful to clarify many doubts in my m...
