Re: Virtual Dimension Lookup D-Link equivalent in TM1 9.5x
Hi all! Tomok: Thank you for the fast response! Turns out your solution works great -- ironically, it was a direct match to the "Variant 2" I had tried earlier, except it I just seemed to have my dimension order mixed up. As a side note, I find the lack of warning messages in TM1 for this ...

Virtual Dimension Lookup D-Link equivalent in TM1 9.5x
Hi all I'm trying to write the equivalent of a simple Virtual "Lookup" D-Link, where a real dimension in the Source cube is matched against a Virtual dimension in the Target cube. In this case, the Target Cube has one Element of the Measures dimension which is a PickList -- the PickList is...

Simple Cognos Analyst -> TM1 comparison guide for a client?
Hi all I have a client who is familiar with Cognos Analyst / Contributor, and wants to know if there's a pre-made guide out there which shows some easy parallels between Analyst / Contributor v8.3 and TM1 v9.5x. (I know TM1 v10.x has the new D-Link style visual interface, but they have 9.5x). Just b...

I wish they were explicit about that in the instructions. :\ They seem to assume that you'll know to change the Security assignment on these hidden Control Objects. At least you can do it easily by adding a Rule to the }ProcessSecurity Cube.

TM1 Drill Through works in Architect but not Contributor
Greetings all I've created a Drill Through process in Architect, and it works just dandy. I can drill all over the place. I've re-Deployed the TM1 Contributor application, but I can't drill anywhere. The "Drill" option is just greyed out when you right-click. Has anyone else experienced th...

Re: Element security - where is WRITE access required?
Greetings all I encountered this same problem: one of my nodes was stuck, returning an error that data was saved in a cell intersection which wasn't allowed by security; however, even after changing the rights to WRITE, copying 0 over everything, and turning the rights back to READ, the error persis...
