Re: Planning Analytics Local 2.0: Rules Calling Multiple Hierarchies
Thank you jwilliamson_uci, I'll try that! I suppose I should look at the reference guide instead of just expecting everything to work

Planning Analytics Local 2.0: Rules Calling Multiple Hierarchies
Long time no post, but it's good to be back! I'm getting my feet (fingers?) wet in Planning Analytics using multiple hierarchies and am having trouble with something that should be super simple. I'm trying to write a rule with a call to an alternate hierarchy, with an ELISANC statement as such: IF(E...

Re: problem with text data in a cube (Cognos TM1. 10.2)
I answered my own question. Removing FEEDSTRINGS enabled use of strings at consolidated levels without a re-firing of the entire rule file. That seems like a bug...

Re: problem with text data in a cube (Cognos TM1. 10.2)
Hey guys, I briefly read this, and want to see if it relates to an issue I'm seeing: We have FEEDSTRINGS because we do have some rules which are triggered by the entry of text. However, it seems when we input into ANY string cell, it now refires all the feeders, which is a substantial process. Does ...

Re: TM1 Control Cube - SecurityOverlayGlobal
I know this post is over a year old, but we were having the same issue where users had ownership, but all cells were still grey and they were unable to edit. Admin users, however, could edit data. After some digging we found that this cube is being updated in the "}tp_workflow_reject_node"...

Re: TM1 Replication error: systemserverclientnotfound
I have heard the same thing, but I think we were told the rep and sync issues had been resolved. I guess not!
It's definitely an option, but we're replicating enough (and in PROD) that I had hoped maybe there was a known fix without having to spend hours on creating and testing new code.

TM1 Replication error: systemserverclientnotfound
Hey guys, I've got a replication failing in PROD with the error "systemserverclientnotfound". When I run it manually it replicates fine, but it's running from a chore and started failing a couple weeks ago. "Started" being the key word. The replication ran successfully from the c...

Re: tm1web activeform zero suppression not working
Before you upload the active form into the TM1 application folder, first delete all rows (even those blank) BELOW the row with the TM1RptRow() formula. I've often found that the browser will cache whatever view is first rendered, and the rows won't update properly unless you load it this way. Just b...

Re: TM1 Web v10 didn't work
I'm getting this same error, and IIS 6 isn't enabled. Is there a way to get the virtual directories created without the 4 hours of uninstall/reinstall time?

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
One more tidbit of information...if I initially upload the websheet with the shorter subset showing (still only loading with the TM1RPTROW), it then won't render the bottom 12 elements of the longer subset.

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
Hey fellas, I've been having no issues so far with my multi-cube active form insofar as performance goes, but the other day I encountered a new issue for which I can't find a solution. One of these reports is rendering the same subset, "Executive BS" (pun intended), regardless of the cube ...

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
I guess I hadn't expanded my thinking to think about why those title elements are there. I appreciate the feedback, and I'll definitely talk with the team about possible performance impacts down the road. You guys are definitely MVPs, I appreciate all your insight.

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
Hey guys, we were able to get the cube change to work without forced re-navigation even. We had to change the TM1RptView so it didn't include any call outs to title elements: =TM1RPTVIEW(SERVER&":Finance JDE:1", 0,TM1RPTFMTRNG,TM1RPTFMTIDCOL) Now, the report works beautifully on the we...

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
Thank you, it is in the same sheet as the TM1RptView and TM1RptRow formulas...and again when I do all this in Perspectives it works. I see the value being passed into the named range. I agree that we may be out of luck and have to go with a separate report for each cube, which is what we were trying...

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
Quick update, I was able to get the value to pass over (I needed to remove the "=" from the target object cell in the advanced options for the action button). Unfortunately, now I'm still getting the same result: it will only render the cube which was last successfully rendered on the web.

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
Thank you, that's good "why" information, I hadn't known about that limitation on the web. I am open to either changing design or training my users, if I can find a solution which works. That said, I did try both of those options, to no avail. When I upload the report with a blank cube sel...

Re: TM1 Active Form allows multiple cube updated in a worksh
Hey guys, I'm experimenting with a single active form which can be rebuilt based on a cube selection. The form works beautifully in perspectives (user selects cube, recalcs to get proper dimension values, then rebuilds to get the new cube values). My problem now is that the form won't work on TM1Web...
