DBRW not returning a value in TM1 Web
Hi All, We have build XLSM form & published on to TM1 Web that uses a DBRW formula to retrieve a value from the }ClientProperties cube. The DBRW works fine when we calculate in Perspectives, but once it's loaded into TM1 Web, the DBRW does not. I tried using DBR instead with the same result. Thi...

FYI - If you are using DBRA in CAFE, it seems it only likes the native (?) element, if you use any alias it returns blank.

Re: SecAdmin + TM1Web Applications
Thanks Lotsaram. Even when the user has access to other "User" type groups, we were still getting this issue. I've assumed that this is a limitation put on SecurityAdmin users so have created a new Group SecurityMaintenance & only gave that group access to the SecAdmin Application in T...

SecAdmin + TM1Web Applications
Hi All, I have been trying to create something in TM1Web to allow our SecurityAdmin team to be able to update Client data via an Excel Template & stored as an Application. During my testing as DataAdmin, all works fine, if test as any Client that has any group access other than SecurityAdmin, it...

Re: Planning Analytics Local 2.0 - Where is TM1Web?
When you say you "don't have access to" the IBM site... you DO have an account (probably Passport Advantage , but with the way IBM runs its customer accounts who the h3ll knows if it's the same for everyone), yes? Because without that, you can't log in and without logging in, you can't do...

Embarrassing question but what are you searching to get the new Planning Analytics Local?
I don't have access to the IBM site & our IT support can only find the cloud version.

Re: RAM Issues with 10.2.2 Upgrade
My understanding is that on your first start up, TM1 will do all of the calculations to feed your cubes (and WRITE to your Feeder files), this can lead to a lot of "Garbage" in your RAM. On the 2nd restart, since you have persistent Feeders, TM1 will look for your .FEEDER files and load th...

Re: TM1 REST API ( Any early adopters )
I've seen a generic "Login/Test" page that was created by an IBM Dev that's supposedly out in the wild now. It allows you to login, test your GET & POST commands and see the resulting data from TM1. I'm sure if you ask your IBM rep or TM1 consultant really nicely, they'll give it to you.

Have you looked to see if you can make the changes to the user profile with the BedRock processes?
If so, then the Senior Controller just needs access to those to perform the function you need.

Re: TM1 Perspective SpreadSheet Browser (ISB) Objects Issue. Please advice.
I get the same issue, mostly get that when I change the "View" it had initially to something else and then save the file. My temporary fix was to use a Default "View" that my users have to change each time they open the template. Not the best solution but we only use ISB to pull ...

Re: MDX 3+ Months rolling solution required
I'd take issue with the statement that using a flat time dimension for reference is inelegant. Only meant to say not elegant as in sticking to a solution with 2Dim per the OP set up. Another solution might be to add 3 (or 6) attributes to the Month Dim to store Mth-1, Mth-2, Mth-3 & then some l...

Re: MDX 3+ Months rolling solution required
Just throwing it out there...
Why not create a Dim that has the consecutive periods, run your MDX against that to get your "last 3mths" and then chop the "Period" back to Month & Year?
Not a particularly elegant solution but would solve for what you want?
