Re: TM1 High Availability Architecture
We run 20+ instances on 5 physical boxes and do not use failover I'm assuming that the 5 servers are physical server and not VM. I guess you have a common NAS in place for the data directory which itself has failover and all that goes with it. I've read that you can only have 1 admin server, are th...

Re: TM1 High Availability Architecture

TM1 High Availability Architecture
Can anyone please point me to some documentation on how to setup and Configure TM1 in a high availability environment, I'm all too familiar with Cognos BI installations on a distributed environment, high dependency environment, but would like more info for setting up a TM1 infrastructure.

Re: Cognos Express Licensing
Thanks Peter,
I think this confirms that no-one can tell me, that by creating additional services on a Cognos express server that I am breaking the license agreement.
I will continue to question IBM.

Re: Cognos Express Licensing
I'm an IBM reseller and service provider, and i cannot get a definitive answer from them. If common knowledge you cannot create anything more than out of the box CMDX, I would have assumed it would be stated so, and not printed in the installation and config guide of how to create additional servers....

Re: Cognos Express Licensing
Thanks, I've read through the legal stuff but still don't see where it explicitly says I can't create them, I see I cannot go over 100 users, I see I can't use replication technology, I can see I cannot install the software on multiple physical hosts, but nothing that says I can't create an addition...
