Re: Is DimensionSortOrder only valid in Metadata?

Undertandably,Metadata changes wouldn't work when it get passed metadata tab.You have to either place it in prolog or metadat tab to get it work.Thanks

Re: Bring data from one cube to another when they have different dimension structure

Hi ViRa,Unless you post screenshot of exact dimensionality and your requirements bit clear manner,it wouldn't lead to anywhere and rather waste valuable time of people who are trying to help you out here. Yes, Model and Risk Types are dimensions as well as measures in Cube B. statement such as above...

Re: SwapAliasWithPrincipalName

SwapAliasWithPrincipalName is known to have some issues and wouldn't be trusted fully. Couldn't you export the data and do the necessary changes and import it back.Of course data backup is mandatory.It far more reliable and easier.Thanks.

Re: TM1 Feeders - Rule is nested If's and Source Cube is a Control Cube.

There are at least two. I may find more uses as I begin actual development using TM1: First as an alias, which is one type of attribute. I think the purpose of an alias attribute is obvious. Re: All Parents for n level element

For that matter ,ELPARN is much more relevant to OP and this is what you could see in Wim Gielis post I have shared above ;

Code: Select all

ELPARN returns the number of parents of an element in a specified dimension.

Syntax

ELPARN(dimension, element)

Re: TM1 Feeders - Rule is nested If's and Source Cube is a Control Cube.

I have one question though,Sorry for my ignorance,If you intend to go with your actual design How does would it be helpful to you in TM1 reporting and what is the point of having key elements as attributes which wouldn't consolidate ?Thanks
