TM1 workflow allows one user per task. TM1 Contributor allows one group per node. If using Workflow then you can create a TI process or two to assign a task to a different user.

In short no, but you can create action buttons to allow the user to navigate between sheets passing parameters etc. This would be a better option than rendering a multisheet workbook.

I don't believe TI can connect directly to essebase. I've always used the underlying data source via ODBC.

You shouldn't need to change the java code, you can edit the actions and status relationships in the workflow admin area and even add new statuses and actions.
