Re: BedrockTM1 Processes for Create Security Group
The AddGroup command in TI simply adds a group within the TM1 server. This is not validated against any external security provider the group is just for TM1. Any groups created in this way will not be visible in Cognos Security Administration as they are not CAM groups. Actually, when you provide C...

Re: Problem in Running Processes from Tm1Web While any appli
I think your problem might be related to data reservation http://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=35520#p35493
But it is lucky guess, because of lack of information (TI logs for example)
*EDITED - wrong link

Re: TI SQL performance issue
Hi, I had similar issue while loading result data to TM1. I used workaround to deal with it. I created table in SQL with columns from select and function that's populate this table with data. I placed this function in prolog of TI and put simple select * from table in query. In My case it worked. HTH

Re: Access tables based on elist in TM1
I don't think that is what he wants to achieve. I want the bahaviour: When I enter the hierarchy in A I want to only see cube AA if I enter in B only see BB and in the case of C I would only see CC In my case, users had functionality, that when they entering different nodes, they had different view...

Re: Access tables based on elist in TM1
Jorge, I have just finished "migration" my client from Planning to TM1, and know what you want to achieve. The answer is simple - you can't do it. In Planning you could show different data (cubes, elements, views) in different nodes. In TM1 you apply security to cubes, dimensions and eleme...

Re: Running a TI only if the data has changed
Maybe leave decision of processing current intersection to operators. You could add new measure (for example "Process"), and tell users that they have to put 1 in it, when they want to update reporting cube. Then yours TI could work only for intersections with 1 (or <>0), send data to repo...

Feeder best practice question
Hi all, I have a theoretical question about best practice to write feeders. Let's assume that i have three cubes with rules: Cube A - filled manual Cube B - some measures taked from A, some filled manual Cube C - all taken from B Now I can write fedders in to ways: 1. A => B, B => C 2. A => B;C, B =...

Re: No hierarchy in contributor view
As i know this is how contributor works. It will show you only nodes from approval hierarchy, and only nodes can be opened in contributor. You can open consolidations in reviewer only, and only in rewiever you have hierarchy. IBM integrated contributor and reviwer in CE 10.1, and in this version you...

Re: Issue with creating subset via TI
Thank you Steve. I suspected that I'm missing something simple... --Edited-- I have checked this, and it's working but it's not enough for me. I want to make few steps, and Prolog and Epilog gives me only two. I tried to create nested processes (executing it from for example Prolog) hoping that data...

Re: TM1 Contributor data commit and remains blue
I had similiar problem. In my case it was coused when there was two ways to enter value - manual and from calculation. ['NetSales']=N:IF(['Price'] <> 0 & ['QTY']<>0,['Price'] * ['QTY'],STET); When you enter NetSales manual, then Price and Qty, Contibutor tries to save data over rule calculated v...

Issue with creating subset via TI
Hi All, I want to create Drill process to another cube. One of destinations cube elements have MDX subset, that's pointing another subset, to walkaround problem with deleteing subsets when they are useb by view (found on this forum). {[Dim].[Subset_for_recreation]} Now i can delete Subset_for_recrea...

@qml - next time I wil describe my problem better.
@Steve - Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Re: Drill process question
I have done TI process and rule, and it is working, but it doesn't map these two dimensions. Lets say I have two cubes: C1 - dimensions: Version, Department C2 - Version, Department_1 When i drill from C1 to C2, Version dimension is mapped correctly, and Department not. It is showing default Deprtme...

Drill process question
Hi all, I'm trying to drill from one cube to another. I have two different named dimensions in this cubes, but with exactly the same elements. I did this because these dimensions are in aproval hierarchy in different Planner aplications. If there is a way to map them in drill process? I tried to map...

Re: Problem with Feeder
I have done few more tests. I read about ReevaluateConditionalFeeders parameter, and i don't think that's my situation, but checked it and it doesn't work. Changing order of SKIPCHECK and FEEDSTRING also doesn't work. I'm on Cognos Express 9.5 and maybe that's the point. After looking at IBM example...

Re: Problem with Feeder
Isn't this one a simple case of needing to include a FEEDSTRINGS command in the source cube? As I understand FEEDSTRING, this command is used when you want fed element that is a string. I want to fire feeder when string element change and feed simple element. Also I tried put FEEDSTRING in rule in ...
