Re: Calculation inconsistency after using a DB

Hi Jorge, I think at some point you hgave transposed some 9s to 6s. Originally you say 4.769999999996 (but from the screenshot it is 4.7700000000999996). But then in a later post you quote 4.7666666669. This number can't be correct and if this is the case the difference (althoug as Wim says only 0....

Re: Calculation inconsistency after using a DB

Hi Jorge, It's Wim, not Win. This is the "difference": Capture.PNG I would not lose any sleep over this 0.07%. I'm certainly not an expert on this. Could it be the case that some numbers are slightly higher than the original number ? Where the effect would be the inverse and the total net...

Re: Calculation inconsistency after using a DB

Hi Steve, Already tried to round in the calculation as also (even if it would be stupid) to round to a different measure in the source cube (rounding the input data) and using this new measure. For both it failed. the differences are detected at employee/month/cost center level (meaning at leaf lev...

Re: Calculation inconsistency after using a DB

Hi Ascheevel, Thanks for the reply. I'm actually able to mimic the behavior. Input is being done manually at a leaf level in a cube as 4.77 When I simply do a DB on a different cube (also at leaf level) I get the 4.7666666669 (around this - almost 15 decimal cases). This remains even if I apply a ro...

Calculation inconsistency after using a DB

Hi all, Couldn't find anything about this topic but would like to ask something about decimals in TM1 (using architect and tm1web). Have a client reporting that after placing an assumption measure as 4.77 (in a specific cube for parameters) when checking another cube that uses this information they ...

Re: Error 1067 when starting IBM TM1 Server Service

Issue solved (unfortunately with no clear root cause). Service must have got corrupted and it had to be rebuilt (delete server in configuration and create a new one with the same name and in the same location - keeping the same ports and config in tm1s.cfg). Applications were not affected with this ...

Re: Error 1067 when starting IBM TM1 Server Service

Tks. Log removal was my 1st thinking but it didn't solve it. Now I'm thinking that something happened to the service itself as the data folder of that server was placed in a test tm1 server/service and it started (also other services start properly). Based on this I'm thinking on deleting and recrea...

Error 1067 when starting IBM TM1 Server Service

Hi, Got this issue reported by a customer and it seems that the service got corrupted. Last saturday without any manual action (at least that's how it's being reported), the server service got disconnected and didn't recover (unfortunately I don't have much more details). When the customer team trie...

Re: SandBoxes Cross Aplication using TM1 Applications

Thanks Elessar, I had that idea but wanted to confirm if I was missing something and if there would be a possibility to make this work for the client demand. Being that the case we will have to do it in a different way (eventually with tm1web where the user is able to select the sandbox and check th...

SandBoxes Cross Aplication using TM1 Applications

Hi All, I have a quick question that might have happened to anyone. I have an admin server with several cubes and from that server I've created several apps (the apps don't share cubes but there are rules that pass data between then). As an example: server has all the needed cubes but in TM1 Applica...

Re: Installing TM1 wih Windows 10

Hi Alan,

If you install FP5 and change the SSL you'll be able to solve this TM1 issue with Windows 10.
Just ended installing FP5 and got this solved :)

Thanks for the brainstorming on this.

Re: Installing TM1 wih Windows 10

Hi Alan,

It's a deal.

Actually just received a new machine at the office and it came with Windows 10 :?
Now either I solve this or I'll have to use a VM before any update is release.

Let's see if putting the SSL again will solve this.

thanks,

Jorge

Re: Installing TM1 wih Windows 10

Hi Stuart,

Knowing that I tried to upgrade to the new SSL but it didn't work. I've reinstalled TM1 and going to try again to update the certificates in case I've missed something (was just wondering if something else was being missed or if there was some incompatibility).

Thanks,

Installing TM1 wih Windows 10

Hi Everyone, I already checked for any posts regarding this issue and didn't find any. I've installed TM1 10.2.2 in my new local machine (The machine came with Windows 10). After installing the server and client (and confirming that the services are running), I got in architect and I'm not able to s...

Re: Create an import TI manually

Uhmmm

Can I use "ops" :)

Thanks for the extra learning minutes... As I said before I never had to do it like this since I always got a service account to do this.
New challenges more learning :)

Again thanks for checking this and for the time. Going to change this.

Kind Regards,

Jorge

Re: Create an import TI manually

declanr,

What I need is to have a datasource defined (datasource, user, password, query) to support a TI process.
At this moment I did it normally using the wizard but in the future I will need to do it by code in prolog since I will need to get the user and pass form another cube.

Re: Create an import TI manually

rmackenzie, Worked perfectly. Because I have the sql statement with the columns and I'm needing this because I'm building an admin cube with the user and password for each environment (dev, qa, prod) I don't have the issues with the columns. So I've tested in a ti that is working and changed the pro...

Eheheh wouldn't imagine that to be the way. Going to try it and give a feedback (hopefully positive :) ).
