I am posting the links to my article on the IBM TechXChange community here rather than trying to replicate the article.

Part 3 - Aggregate Calculated Members in MDX
Would be good to get some feedback and possible future topics.
I have these in mind at this stage:
- Aggregate functions (in Part 3)
- Ranking results
- Read-only values in cubes
- Joining or stitching views
- Notes or commentary alongside values
- Sorting and sequencing a view for export
- Query Scoped Members
