Office 365 + Perspectives Add-In Not In Support

Hi friends, I wanted to share this information that I learned recently, to hopefully help you avoid some heartache (maybe it is old news to many, but it was new news to us :shock: ).

If you are considering an upgrade to PA (TM1) Server, and your user community has Excel Office 365 deployed, IBM does not support the configuration while using the older Perspectives add-in. Meaning if you experience any performance degradation, or loss of functionality while using the Perspectives add-in, you will be asked to use a supported version of Excel.

TM1 Perspectives is only supported on Excel 2016 and 2019. IBM does not intend to perform conformance testing with TM1 Perspectives and Office 365. Planning Analytics for Excel should be considered if support for Office 365 is required.
