My client here in Sydney is a Global Consulting firm with an exceptional BI / DW capability.

My client is looking for an experienced BI / DW Practice Lead to grow the IM team and play a key role in Business Development within the Company.

This well-known organisation has recently undergone some restructuring, which has given rise to a new business unit focused on Business Intelligence, Information Management, Advanced Analytics etc.

There is an immediate need for a Senior Information Management specialist to lead the IM competency, covering MDM, data architecture, data quality and data integration. The role will involve:

• Defining the IM practice value proposition and offerings
• Business, need and problem analysis
• IM strategy development for clients
• Designing, scoping and selling IM solutions to clients
• Managing the IM practice – skills, numbers, p&l, recruitment, new business etc
• People management – mentoring, skills development etc

This is senior level role that requires:

• A strong background in IM solution development and delivery
• Strong management pedigree
• Detailed and high level knowledge of Enterprise Information Management – architecture, quality, MDM, etc
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation and communication skills
• Senior level experience at another tier 1 consulting organisation will be viewed very favourably
