Never ending GET cellset thread

This is probably the 10 times I am getting this issue in which TM1Top show a user innocent Get Cellset thread seems to be running forever and as a result caused lock wait in a few TI processes and evetually a full server locked up.
Never arrived with any conslusion with IBM as it will require switcing on debug mode etc etc hence I am looking at ways to avoid this.

Am thinking of writting a Rest API utility to detect long running user threads and kill it before the sever goes into full lockup situation.

Any other suggestion ?

PA now gives you tm1event.log which lists long running threads and locking contentions. The only problem is that it lists only the thread number which doesnt let you trace any further when the thread has gone.
