Hi all,
I'm using a local install of Planning Analytics and having an issue with PAX. For some reason my task pane in Excel is entirely blank after I have connected to a TM1 server. VirtualBox is running the VM OK and in PAW Administration my URIs validate, all services are running. All TM1 services also running - eg Admin Server and Application Server.
When starting PAX, I can connect to my TM1 server, I get the usual Planning Analytics login screen but once past this, nothing in the Task Pane. I can connect fine in Architect and PAW and see cubes in both so rules out general security or connection issues. I'm running PAX Version 28, 32Bit, Excel 2016.
Any thoughts or ideas appreciated!
Thanks
PAX has blank task pane

Hello,
When you create connection in PAX, what port do you use? Tm1 app's (default 9510) or PAW's (default 9580)? Should be PAW's

Re: PAX has blank task pane
I think happens because you have pointed PAx at the TM1 server not the PAW server, without the PAW sever the "web" stuff doesn't work.
Also make sure you have IE11 on the client machine.
EDIT : See below, it's what JorelB says

In Excel, File->Options->General and check if the excel option “Optimize for Compatibility” is selected/active.
If not select/activate that option.
