Home page (ActiveForm) in TM1Web

Post by sunlight »

Dear TM1 experts,

I need to analize one TM1 model done by some other TM1 developer, not available for my questions. I need to find out, how she did TM1Web welcome page (ActiveForm) in TM1 10.2.2. For that purpose I checked tm1web_config.xml for a parameter "HomePageObject" expecting to see there a link to a websheet, but I didn't find this parameter there. Could you please give me some hints where I could find home page configuration for TM1Web?

All hints are appreciated!

Hello,

Go to the server name in Architect or Perspectives, right-mouse click, then Security > Client groups matrix.
On the right, you can set some properties for 1 or more clients, one of the properties being the homepage.
That should be one of the application items.
Best regards,

Wim, thank you a lot! That was what I was looking for!

I have another question, if there are 100 clients, is it possible to manage this automatically, may be using Rules? Or should I just select apply to All Clients?

Homepage is stored in the }ClientSettings cube. Yes you can create a rule. Most consultants would set this up with one client as the "default user" and pull values to all other users via rule.
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.
