Synchronizing dimensions in IBM PAW

Post by DYNA »

Hi guys.

Is there any way for me to have like four charts on a single worksheet in IBM PAW and synchronize them separately?

Two charts will be for Revenue whilst the other two charts will be for Expenditure.

Revenue accounts and Expenditure accounts are being pulled from the same dimension.

What we currently require, is when we click on an account of the Revenue chart, only the two Revenue charts must update, and not the Expenditure charts. Same applies for Expenditure.

If we do happen to synchronize with that specific dimension, then all the charts (Revenue and Expenditure) are becoming synchronized with whatever information we are clicking on.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Currently this is not supported. Synchronization scope is at the book or sheet level.

We have discussed adding "synchronization groups" which would allow user-defined synchronziation scoping.

I’m sorry but seriously?

What of the IBM RFE sites and process?
What of the multiple DeveloperWorks forums?
What of the multiple blog / forum / wiki mash-ups for Planning Analytics (with separate sites for local vs. cloud, then again potentially separate location for TM1 server vs Workspace)

How is anyone supposed to keep up and know what’s what and where to go?

So what exactly is this new “ideas” website and what is its purpose?
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.
