Palo V3 now released

Post by John Hobson »

V3 was released at the beginning of this month.

I now have it running on my VPS and accessing the demo model over http it seems just as fast as if it were on my local PC. This opens up a few possibilities...

John, I've just tried to install Palo 3 from the download link from Jedox without success (2.5 was fine). Before I contact Jedox, do you have any suggestions? Environment is XP, XL2007 + 2003 (yes, I know, but it's turning up at clients and I need to get my head round it).

David

Do you mean you can't download it or you can't install it?

I don't have any experience of XL 2007, but managed to install without problems on XP and XL 2003

Hi David,

Did you download the 3.0 Client/Server package? Did you uninstall PALO 2.5 before installing 3.0?
Please note that when you install the client/server package on a machine with 2 Excel versions it will automatically install the add-in to the latest Excel version (XL 2007 in your case). If you want to open the add-in in XL 2003 you need to load palo.xll manually (File->Open->etc.). Excel 2007 should work OK.
