Apologies for the extended outage. Last week I removed an old website from the same VPS but I had neglected to update Apache's settings. When the VPS was restarted last night by the vendor Apache wouldn't start so as a result the site was offline.

If you're reading this then I think it's all back on line. Disk space was full
Turns out that's REALLY hard to fix if you're not much cop with linux like myself. Particularly as it took me AGES to twig to the cause because the front end said there was nearly a gig free. I only noticed when I tried to create a file.
So my apologies for the extended outage.

Well done Martin! Imagine the trouble you'd have had if it was an in-memory forum...

Impact: During this maintenance window there will be three brief periods of up to 5 minutes where our services are unavailable. As a precaution we have scheduled it for the early hours of the morning and will have multiple engineers on standby in case of any unforeseen issues.

The hardware node where your VPS is hosted on is scheduled to have a disk upgrade between:
Start time: 13/09/2013 00:00 NZST End time: 13/09/2013 05:00 NZST
This will allow for better performance and quicker file system checks in the event of an emergency reboot. This should not cause any issues to your server, but will require an outage while the server is rebooted for the changeover.
