TM1 with excel 2007

Post by erakeman »

After upgrading to excel 2007, I am periodically receiving a "Out of Memory" error and excel crashes. The rest of my team is having the same issue. Anyone else experience this problem?
peace out,

Which version?

Excel 2007 wasn't supported until 9.1, and then only on what's described in the release notes as a "limited" basis. It's not fully supported until 9.4.

I really think that you should roll back to Excel 2003 if at all possible as long as you remain on that TM1 version. You won't get any support at all from Iboglix since Excel 2007 isn't an approved version for 9.0, and I'll be very surprised if there are any other users using that combination who may be able to help you.

(Of course you won't know for sure for another 8-10 hours or so when Europe wakes up, but as I said, I'd be very surprised indeed.)

We are using Excel 2003 and 9.1 SP2 U2. We have never had this problem. As Alan stated you may want to move back to Excel 2003. Either that or move up to the latest 9.1 release. I wouldn't however move up to 9.4 yet,

Jim.
